Year 776 ([Name]= 26, Vegeta= 44) [Kuriya= 9 months old, Trunks= 10, Gohan= 18, Goten= 9] Approx. Jan. 776
Yet another year had come and gone for Vegeta, and he's realizing more and more, how fast it goes by. Life used to feel so slow back then— and it wasn't even four years ago— Back before Buu, it was such a struggle to enjoy life. Hours and hours of training would happen, but— it didn't go by fast, it felt gruelingly so.
But, life was speeding up. It was almost feeling too fast. A few months back, Bulma had made them this gift. If he remembers correctly, it was right after the wedding. And, when told, he was ecstatic. Now, he wouldn't have to stay home all day, but he could monitor the baby, so he could take [Name] with him, too.
Humorously, what [Name] had done a few days after the wedding fit with said gift from Bulma and Vegeta's plan. She told Goku that he didn't teach her Super Saiyan III, and she could handle that. But, she wanted Instant Transmission. She would do anything for it. And, humorously enough, he agreed, spending a few days getting her to understand.
For the old Goku, it had taken a long time. But, that was just after he had learned how to go Super Saiyan. Now, he is in a world where his ki and control of it surpasses his old self hundredfold. Easily. If not more. And, she was stronger than him, focusing solely on ki control and growth for the past nine years.
It was a boring week or so, and Vegeta had to monitor it, he brought the baby. Since, sooner or later, he, too, would need to learn. That, and since said baby was teething and trying to crawl everywhere, might as well keep him away from that non-baby proofed-hellhole known as Capsule Corporations.
But, that was back in the beginning of November. Now, winter had started, it having been here for about a month or so, maybe just a little more. The snow was going to get worse, but it had yet to be a burden. Especially for the two Super Saiyans.
That special baby monitor that they got from Bulma was planet-wide, and it went well with having [Name] know Instant Transmission. They could be anywhere in the world and any little sound had them back home in no time to deal with whatever it was. It was foolproof. It definitely sated Vegeta's need to train, train, train.
It was daily. It was strenuous. It was grueling.
Rarely, though, did either of them come home with anything too extreme, no hospital visits were needed. Thankfully.
Since the weather change, it was suggested by Vegeta that they head to Yunzabit. Reasoning? Why not go to the most treacherous place on Earth? During winter, the weather is literally freezing, it's constantly snowing, along with the harsh, bitter winds. It was the perfect way to get some training done.
Vegeta, too, somehow talked his wife into trading in her gi for some armor again. She did agree— they wore matching outfits now. Though, instead of the blue under-suit, she wore the striking red. The recent additions, from her request, had the Saiyan crest etched into the back on the new chest pieces.
"What should we do about Kuriya starting to try and walk?" [Name] asked, blocking a rough punch from Vegeta with her forearm. It wasn't just snowing at the moment, it was hailing, leaving ice to fly past their forms.
"We just keep an eye on him when he's awake." Vegeta said quickly, sending another hit towards her, feeling some of the ice shards cut his cheek. "As long as we keep an eye on him, and he doesn't run into anything, we're fine. I don't want him crying."
"I can't tell if that's because you don't want to listen to it because it annoys you or if because you're worried about your son being hurt." She huffed, blocking yet another one of his hits. He was trying.
