"I've missed this." [Name] spoke up as soon as the three of them entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, she rested her hands to her hips, a nostalgic smile on her lips.

"You missed this?" Goku didn't seem to entirely understand, "What about it?" He asked her, standing just two steps behind her. He looked to Vegeta who stepped ahead of them, likely pulling in the same feelings of nostalgia.

"I missed the void." He cocked his brow at the Queen, he wasn't sure he understood. "It reminds me of my childhood." She explained, "Flying around in space and all that. It's some of the same. It goes on endlessly, but we can see it, if that makes sense. Reminds me of space, you can't really just hide there, you know?"

"I think I get you—Maybe." His response got a small laugh out of the female as they joined the King, walking a bit farther across the foyer of the main building of the chamber.

"I suppose it's the purity of it." She left it with that, turning to Vegeta. "How about you, hon'?" The slight smile that tinged at his lips spoke volumes. "Alright, before we get started, I think we should divvy up the beds and shit. I can already tell we're either going to whip ourselves so much that we're going to instantly collapse later or we're going to end up arguing over something stupid with all our emotions dialed to eleven after training. So, I want to sort it out now."

"Viable." The King said simply, looking to his rival.

"So, which bed do you guys want?" Goku was looking between the two beds, not that it totally mattered. If he took the one on the left, he'd be closer to the void and thusly, he'd be able to technically train sooner than them. He started taking steps towards the left bed, when Vegeta actually stepped in front of him. "What the--?"

"We'll take this one!" Vegeta shouted quickly, surprising both of them. The left bed—there was no way to really explain it. Ten years ago, when they were in here last, the bed a vast majority of their actions took place on was the left bed. It was her bed, or at least, it was hers when they were in here last. The importance of it to him was—a bit more than he wanted to admit.

"Wow, okay." Goku laughed, looking to the Queen who just seemed sheepish.

"This one it is." [Name] felt a small chuckle leave her lips as she sat down for a second, giving her husband a glance. The look he gave her made her nod silently, this would be something he would probably explain later. That is, if she couldn't fill in those blanks herself.

"I say we get started!"

"Well, we are going to be in here for three years. Guess it is better to start sooner rather than later." She hummed in response.

"Yes! Training is best done in bulk!" It was then that she watched Goku run off into the void, seemingly skipping with excitement.

"Goodness gracious..." The Queen sighed, watching Vegeta sigh as well. This is going to be a long three years, isn't it?

And a long three years it was. Weeks ticked by with grueling exercise and meditation. The days fluctuated with the void, the vibe for the entire day hinged solely on the temperature. Ten-hour meditation was best done in dry, scorching heat. Boiling hot humid days were best for straining stretches, like two-hour one-handed handstands. The nipping snowy days, where bones creaked like rusty pipes, were best for sparring.

The unpredictable void made for a better trainer than most, for the drastic changes painted one powerful workout after another.

Vegeta found Goku's existence with them a great struggle. His mind couldn't stop thinking about the last time he was in here. The last time they were here was the beginning of their sexual endeavors, and trying not to train in the same light was a great struggle. This was the one time they were going to be without their kids, and sadly, it was tainted with Goku's existence.
