Chapter 63~ Secrets

Wow-- again I'm dead for another stretch of time. The big issue is not time, this time. It's-- I have the idea in my head, but I can't get myself to put it out. I got a majority of this chapter done, and I would appreciate any input so I can make 64 the second half. Best author 2020. This may or may not be edited. Oof

Year 779 ([Name]= 29, Vegeta= 47) [Kuriya= 4, Aoi= 3, Trunks= 13, Gohan= 22, Goten= 13] Approx. July 779

"You only have one shot." Whis hummed, pushing Goku ahead of him, and that was when he realized, he was back at the battle. Actually, they all were.

He turned around and found the Queen back on the ground, her children at her side, donned in a worried expression as she watched the battle before them. But, instead of being a few feet away like he was before the explosion, he was with the group. Now, he had one goal, stop Freeza from killing them all. Should be easy enough.

Since he knew the moment was coming, he watched the emperor intently, waiting for the right moment to strike. It was his one chance to save all of their lives. And, if he messed up? Well, goodbye, Earth. He was sure they'd be fine, however.

"Vegeta!" He shouted as soon as he noticed Freeza's attempt. And, as soon as he stepped in—It seemed their victory was set in stone. In a rather mundane and simple flourish, the battle was over and Freeza was killed again.

"That was easy." The full blood hummed, putting his hands on his hips and grinning triumphantly. "Now what?" The King, getting up from his knelt over position, flew to his mate's side, bringing her into his arms and holding her close, just thankful that all of the added violence hadn't harmed her further. "Ooh! Victory hugs! Count me in!" He was just about to jump on the couple, when a death glare stopped him.

"Stay ten feet back. I still have not forgiven you." Vegeta hissed, his eyes firmly fixed on Goku from over his mate's shoulder. Both Kuriya and Aoi ran to their parents, hugging their legs. That was the only thing that pulled the King's focus, he turning from his rival and down to his children with a soft smile.

"I—" When the full blood tried to speak up again, the King's eyes met his once more, ceasing any further backtalk.

"Wait—Wait—I demand you explain what the fuck happened!" Bulma huffed, then looked down to the kids, sighed, and looked back to Vegeta and Goku. "Explain what you said earlier!"

"Not here and not now." The King answered, pulling back from the hug a little and running his fingers through his mate's hair. "For starters, we're all exhausted and [Na'] needs a shower. So, we're heading home."

"I—"

"I said we're heading home. We'll talk about it later." He huffed to Bulma, then turned to his rival. "I suggest you go home with your son and to your wife, Kakarrot."

"But Gohan—" Goku started, not sure what he meant about 'going home with his son', since Gohan lived with his wife already.

"C'mon out, Trunks." At the King's words the two boys ran out of hiding, the young Prince ran straight to his father's side, and Goten appeared at his own father's hip. "Come, Bulma, we're heading home now."

"Someone's in a bossy mood." Bulma sighed, but nodded her head, settling her hand to the Queen's shoulder. "I expect you to explain it to me." She huffed.

"You have enough energy to take us home, [Name]?" When she nodded, he smiled softly. It was kind of odd for those watching, it seemed with coming days that he was far more open with his emotions. Maybe that was just because of the stress of the battle. They didn't know.

"What about coming back?" Whis threw in, knowing the King was very excited to run off.

"Maybe just give us a few days?" The King asked, he watching the other two full bloods nod in agreement. Maybe some time at home would do them some good. Give them time to refresh. "We'll call you. And, if not, just arrive back in three days." That was the last thing he said before nodding to his mate, the six of them disappearing back to Capsule Corporations.
