Tahny--Two weeks later
After closing up the shop, all of the girls and I went out to some bar to have some fun. Olivia stood up from her seat with her drink in the air. "I just wanna say, Tahny you did yo shit! Overcame a lot and got me a job after college! Thank you best friend! Cheers to Tahny." I laughed and wiped away fake tears before we all clanked our glasses together. "To Tahny~" The rest of them repeated and we downed the rest of the drinks. Just then my phone buzzed. I looked down and hummed when I realized who it was.

Me: I'm out with my girls, why wassup?
Jalen😏: Where? I'm trynna see you
Me: You wanna see me or you trynna fuck?
Jalen😏: Why everything about fuckin? Nah but fr tell me where you at so I can get you
I told him the name of the club and stuffed my phone back in my pocket. Yasmine looked at me with a smirk on her face and winked. "I saw that Tahny." I blushed and pushed her shoulder. "Get yo nosey ass out my phone." She laughed and Macy and Olivia looked at us like we were crazy. Yasmine cleared her throat and made a deep voice, mocking Jalen. "I just wanna see you, where you at so I can get some of that good pussy." I rolled my eyes and they all laughed. "Ha ha ha very funny, not gon be funny when you lose yo job." Everyone got silent and I puffed my lips. "Mhm thats what I thought." Olivia flipped me off and I laughed. They know I'm only joking.
We all started talking and having fun again, taking shots and simply celebrating success. Suddenly, my stool was swirled around and a pair a lips smashed onto mine. I widened my eyes but soon kissed back when noticing it was Jay. I wrapped my arms around his neck and cheers came from behind me. Jalen pulled away with a smirk on his face and I smiled. "Hello to you too." He let me go and turned me back around to the table. He drapped his arms over my shoulders and rest his chin on my head. Olivia moved her eye brows at me and I smiled while hiding my face in my head.
"So.... How long has this been going on?" Macy said, resting her chin on her palm. Jay answered before I could. "Three years ago." I looked at him and laughed a bit, "You aint even known me for three years."
"It sounds more impressive." He shrugged and smiled at me again. I shook my head and looked back at the girls. "Two weeks ago. Even though he didnt properly ask me out." I said in a matter-of-fact voice. He made a 'tch' sound and got off of me. "Come on ma, I wanna go somewhere." I grabbed my wallet and phone before hugging everyone. "I'll see y'all on Monday~" I said while walking away with Jay.

I dont know what it is bout this girl but she got a dude going soft already. Its like each and everyday I fall more and more for Tahny. She like a breath of fresh air, and when I inhaled it I just got so addicted to that shit. Looking at her everyday made me realize I dont wanna lose her to any other nigga, or just period for that matter. Her looks couldnt ever compare to her heart and genuine care for me. She is a diamond. A diamond that I already claimed. She is mine and I am hers. No other bitch or nigga is coming between us and that facts.
"Where we going?" Tahny had her head facing me with her legs up on the seat, heels abandon in the back seat. I pulled up to a stop sign and leaned over, kissing her slow. We dont do that often but I got to admit that when we do, I start feeling sparks. Tahny placed her hand on my side and gripped my shirt in her hand. I pulled away and started driving again. "Don't worry about it, you safe wit me." I glanced at her and she was just starring at me, I laughed a bit and focused on the road.
Soon we pulled up to a spot that me and Cash use to chill at. Its a rocky road that leads to a little body of water. Connected to it was all types of rocks. I stepped out and opened the door for Tahny. She got out and smiled at the sight. "What is this Jay?" She walked up to the water and put her feet in it. I back hugged her and rested my chin on her head. "Wanted to just talk with you, spend some time together so I chose here. Me and my homeboy use to come here when I moved here." Tahny turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck. "You brought me somewhere special to you, you turning soft for me baby?" Her voice was joking and I rolled my eyes. "Shut up and hold up your arms." She laughed and did as told. I pulled off her dress and laid it on the front of my car. I did the same wit my clothes until I was down to my underwear, and her in her bra and panties. I walked in the water and guided Tahny in by her hand. "Oh shit this cold." She said and shivered a bit. Once the water went up to our shoulders, I stopped and intertwined our fingers. "Get use to it?" She nodded and clung to my arms, her legs going around my waist. She rested her head on my chest and closed her eyes. "What'd you wanna talk about?" I held her and sighed. "I aint as lowkey as you thought." She looked up at me with furrowed brows. "What you mean?"
"Like wit my selling, Ion just help Trail out." Surprisingly, she laughed and cupped my cheek. "Let me tell you something Jalen. I'm not dumb, I figured out what you do after I saw that big ass rolex on yo wrist at my shop. Plus, my friend Macy told me you got traps everywhere. I'm ok with it, I just dont want you to get hurt. The game is dangerous and when you in it, you become a target. I know you probably know what you doin but still watch yo back. I know because I watched my dawg turn into a snake and that some you got to be ready for. Trust the right people and choose your next steps carefully. As long as you aint shot up, got people banging on my door at 3am, or go to jail then I'm fine with it."
"As long as I got you I'll be alright." She smiled and kissed me. It was quiet for a while before she spoke again. "Now for my actual question: Were you always into selling drugs or did you just become accustomed to it." I thought for a second before shaking my head. "Nah, but I was always into money though. I started out to help my Nana but even after she passed, I got so interested in the money from slanging drugs that I couldnt stop. Sometimes I wish I wasnt in this shit. Risking my life everyday, but I suck it up and do what I got to do to get the money." I aint lyin either, a nigga aint plan on being in the game for a living. She tugged on my beard a bit and kissed me again. "Dont let it change you, promise?"
"Promise baby." She smiled and kissed me again.
