Greenhouse Academy Fan fiction

Chapter 23

The wind blew in my face as I sat on the lawn. Louis addressed the small crowd from a podium. "Congratulations, seniors. Your time at the Greenhouse has been... eventful, to say the least.

"We've accomplished a lot in the past few years, together. We've had a lot of good times, as well as a lot of dark ones. But, we always pushed through it. I'm proud of all of you. You are all very accomplished and amazing students. I wish you the best in your future endeavors." Louis grinned. "Happy graduation!"

Everyone cheered and threw of their caps. I glanced over at Leo, who was smiling at me. I walked over to him and hugged him. "Congrats, Woods."

"Thanks, Leo." We weren't back together, but in the past few years we had become good friends. Sometimes though, I could still sense jealousy in him. I know he tried hard to get over it, and he never brought it up, but it was still painful for him to see me with someone else.

I released him and turned to Jackie. Max, as always, was hovering at her shoulder. After hugging them both, I turned to Daniel, who was standing next to me . I gave him a peck on the cheek. "We did it!"

He grinned. "We did do it, didn't we. Now we only have several years of college to look forward to." 

I shoved him playfully. "Hey, let me enjoy the moment!" But I knew we were both excited. The Greenhouse was quite prestigious, so getting into a good college wasn't hard. We would both be going to the same college on scholarship. It would definitely be a different experience than the Greenhouse had been, but it would still be good. I was looking forward to the new chapter in my life with him. We had grown very close in the few years since the kidnapping, and I couldn't imagine life without him anymore.

Well I guess this is it. Kind of an unsatisfying ending, but whatever. I thought there would be a few more chapters, but I guess this is the last one. I just want to thank all of you who read and stayed with me throughout this process. Thanks for correcting my spelling and grammar errors- that has been very helpful.  I'm planning on writing some more stories, so make sure to follow if you are interested in those. (If not, just ignore this.) Alright, I guess this is it. It has been fun!
