Chapter 31: How Long?

Chapter 31

"That bastard" Tabashi muttered. I was shocked to hear that come from his mouth. I've never heard him say such foul language. Even if he stubbed his toe he wouldn't curse.

"I'm gunna kill him" Saff said.

"I'll help you I know how to shoot" Anthony added in.

I just finished telling them the story of what had occurred last night and it was honestly hard. I couldn't really say the words "Raymen cheated on me" it was so hard to get out. I was even hoping that it was all a dream when I woke up.

"I thought he was better than that Lyina" Saff said rubbing my back.

I had my head down on the my arms as we all sat around the kitchen bar.

Anthony stuck a piece of bacon in his mouth and groaned.

"Even though I should be happy about this... it hurts me to see this happen to you... You deserve better darling."

I sighed not replying to any of them.

"When your heart isn't aching anymore and you're ready to move on I'll be here" he joked.

I glared at him trying to fight my laugh.

"Too soon?" he asked.

I laughed as Saff patted his shoulder. "Too soon."

Tabashi stood up and brushed the hair out my face. "Everything happens for a reason my little prya, even if it's a bad something good can come out of it, just give it time his day will come." He kissed my forehead and picked up his keys. "I'm going to get diapers."

"I love you Tabashi" I whispered.

He smiled sweetly. "I love you more."

I stood up off the stool and stretched. My hoodie lifted a bit and I pulled it back down covering back my belly.

"I'll be in the theatre if anyone needs me" I said softly.

Anthony's POV

I watched as she stood up stretching. Her Childish Gambino hoodie lifted revealing her stomach before she pulled it back down.

"I'll be in the theatre if anyone needs me" she basically whispered.

The sadness in her voice was killing me but the sadness in her eyes was even worse. I hate Raymen. I hate what he did to her. How do you hurt such a perfect girl. If I had her I would cherish her every move treating her like my queen. I just can't understand why he did such a thing. What was his logic? If he wanted to have sex why not just have sex with her. I'm debating if it was because he was drunk but I know he can handle his liquor. There's just no excuse in my head that can justify what he did. All I can picture is Lyina's heart tearing to shreds once she walked in on them. I should be happy by all of this really. Lyina's single and heart broken even if I was a rebound at the moment I could still make her love me more later on. Sounds great huh? Nope. I can't do it. It hurts me so much to see her like this and it hurts even more to know that she'll be loving him for a long time no matter how much he hurt her. I pulled out my phone locating Raymen's number. I had to get to the bottom of this. I dialed his number and it rung for a while before going to voicemail. I pressed the button again waiting for his answer. I'll call twenty times I don't care.

"Who you calling?" Saff asked.

"The prick" I replied.

"What?" Raymen yelled through the phone.

"We need to talk."

"There's nothing to talk about" he said.

"There's plenty. I'll be at the Starbucks by yours in twenty minutes" I said before hanging up.

"I was joking about the killing thing" Saff joked.

I laughed and picked up Lyina's keys.

"I'll be back in a bit" I said.

I re adjusted the seat of Lyina's Camero. She was so short, the seat was practically touching the ceiling. The whole twenty minutes I was thinking of how to ask Raymen why he cheated. Then I prepared for his answer but more importantly I was going to keep my cool. I turned at the light once I saw the Starbucks, I almost hit another car but I can drive, I swear. I'm just still not used to the whole driving on the right thing. I sat in the car staring at the back of Raymens head in the store. I breathed out tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. Anger took over my body but the good little me on my right shoulder told me to calm down. I brushed off both the little angel and devil off my shoulders and opened the cafe door. I pulled the chair out glancing at Raymen before I sat. Rage filled his eyes and I was a little taken back by it.

"Lad I haven't even given you a reason to get mad yet?" I said honestly mad.

He looked at me as if I were crazy.

"You know what" he said while standing up. "Fuck this."

He slammed the cafe door open walking out. I looked at everyone that's eyes were now on me and pushed in the chair.

"Raymen" I yelled opening the door. "What hell is wrong with you?"

He stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly. "What's wrong with me... WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?" he yelled.

Now I was pissed he was acting like he did nothing. Like the girl he supposedly loved didn't walk in on him balls deep in another girl.

"HAVE YOU GONE BLOODY MAD RAYMEN? ZALYINA WALKED IN ON YOU FUCKING MY GIRL BY THE WAY AND YOU ACT LIKE NOTHINGS HAPPENED?"

"She saw us?" he asked nose flaring.

"YES SHE SAW YOU ASSHOLE" I screamed.

He turned around walking to his car. "Good."

My eyes grew wide. He didn't just say that. I had to be hearing things. The rage now entered my veins and I couldn't control myself. I ran at him grabbing his shirt and turning him around, slamming him on the car. He pushed back but I held him on the car.

"Let go of me" he said breathing hard.

"Why'd you do it?"

He kissed his teeth and turned his head.

"Why'd you do it Raymen?

He looked me straight in the eyes laughing. I'm starting to believe he really has gone mad.

"You thought I didn't know about you and Zalyina" he started. "About your romantic get away?" he laughed again. "So tell me Anthony. How long have you two been seeing each other behind my back?"

I let go of him backing up. He stood upright fixing his shirt. I breathed out in frustration running a hand through my hair.

He was still chuckling. "How long huh?"

I breathed out once more scratching my head, I hope I don't regret this. "Since the second week I moved in" I whispered.
