You stood up in the kitchen as soon as you heard the front door open. Blake came in through the living room, throwing the keys on the counter. "Hey, what are you doing up so late?" he questioned.  You crossed your  arms. "Waiting for you." He smirked, leaning down to kiss your lips, until you stopped him. "Blake, where have you been?" He stood back up. "I was out with the guys, you know that we go out every now and then." "I can't believe you." Confusion instantly washed over him. "What?" "This evening, was your daddy-daughter dad with [Y/D/N]! You promised that you would spend some time with her, and go to her ballet recital. But I guess you think your friends are more important. You don't know how upset she was when you didn't even show up!" "Damn, I'm forgot!" he yelled back, "I'll apologize in the morning-" You could tell he was buzzed. "There you go again. You're going to apologize, and do the same thing next week! Blake, you acting like a child is getting old! You need to grow up!" "I don't need you telling me what to do, I'm the man of the house! If you're not okay with that, then LEAVE!" he boomed. You raised an eyebrow.

"Fine then, I'll leave and I'm taking [Y/D/N] and [Y/S/N] with me" you said, leaving the room. Blake followed you up the stairs.

"You are not taking my kids away from me!" "I'm not leaving them here, you'd probably forget they were in the house!" You went into your daughters room, she was a already awake and rubbing her the sleep out of her eyes. "[Y/D/N], get out your suitcase, we're going to Grammy's house." "[Y/D/N], you're not going anywhere, get back in bed" Blake corrected. "Listen to mommy, and get your suitcase." You went into the nursery, and lifted up your three and a half month old son, who was also awake and gnawing on his fist. "[Y/N], you are not taking the kids away from me." You ignored him, and put [Y/S/N] in his car seat to get his clothes. When you finished, you went to help your daughter, then pack a few things for yourself. Blake stood back and watched you packed your clothes. You felt his touch, but moved away. "Blake, just don't. You made it clear that you don't want us here." "I never meant-" "If you want to think that your friends and partying are more important than your family, fine. I hope they make you happy." You lifted up the car-seat, and went downstairs to get your daughter. Blake squat down to your daughter's height. "Aren't you going to give me a hug before you leave?" he asked with a sad smile. She shook her head and grabbed your loose hand.
"Bye Blake."

You knocked on the door of your parent's house and waited. Your father peeped through the window, before opening the door.. "Where is that idiot?" he questioned, referring to Blake. He moved to the side and you walked in just as your mother came down the steps. "What happened?" she asked. You shook your head not wanting to explain what happened in front of [Y/D/N]. "Come on kiddo, I'll go tuck you in" your father offered. You gave him a warm smile. "Thank you." After they left the room, your mother faced you. "Now, what happened?" "Blake, and I got into an argument." "And you just walked out?" You nodded, looking down at [Y/S/N]. Your mother gave you a sad look, before beckoning you to follow her.

"Come on, I heard enough. You need your sleep."

A Few Days Later

"Are you sure you don't want me to go over there with you?" your dad offered. You shook your head with a laugh. "Dad, I'll be fine, Blake isn't like that." He frowned. "I'm just looking out for you." You gave your father and mother a hug. "Alright." "I love you." "I love you too." [Y/D/N] have her grandparents a kiss before you left.

[Y/D/N] sung to the radio the whole way home, and [Y/S/N] cooed, and squealed as his sister tickled him. It was almost as if nothing had happened. You pulled into the driveway, and opened the doors, to get the kids. By time you turned around, Blake was already in the doorway. "Hey" he greeted. Your daughter stayed close to you. "Hey" you replied, walking past him.

"Can we talk?" "[Y/D/N], go to your r-"

"No, she can stay. She needs I hear this."

He bent down to come face-to-face with your daughter. "I never meant to miss your ballet recital, or our daddy-daughter night. You know I love you more than hanging out with my friends or playing basketball. I acted like a jerk, and I'm sorry. Tomorrow, we can go where ever you want, and we can stay there all day long. What do you say to that?" Her eyes little up. "So we can go to JumpZone?" "Mhmm." "And see "Frozen on Ice"?" "Yup." "And go to Justice?!" "Yes, ma'am." She jumped into his arms. "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you Daddy!" she squealed. "Now, let me talk to your mother for a second." She skipped upstairs to her room. He stood back. His face more serious. "[Y/N], you know I didn't mean what I said the other night. When you left and took [Y/S/N] and [Y/D/N] with you, I felt like crap. Can you please forgive me? I was an ass." You gave Blake a kiss on the cheek. "I don't appreciate you cursing in front of our son, but yes I do forgive you."
