"Well, we spent Christmas at your mom's house last year" you argued. Luke laughed into the phone. "Alright babe, we'll spend it at your mom's house, happy?" "Yes, very" you answered, flicking through channels. "When are you going to be back?" you questioned. "I'm heading over to the house right now, I'll be there in like fifteen, twenty minutes." From downstairs, you heard a thump. "You think we could go out for some-" "Shh!" you shushed. "What?" "I think I hear something." You heard a low voice from downstairs, then another voice. Quickly, you hopped out of bed, and locked the bedroom door. "L-Luke, there's someone downstairs." "Are you sure-" "I hear voices" you whispered, quickly going into the master bedroom's bathroom. Your heart began to beat rapidly.

Whoever they were, they were coming up the steps.

"Cam, call the police! Tell them to get to my house now!" Luke ordered. You heard banging on the bedroom door. "Luke, please hurry" you cried, tears running down your face. "Shh, I'm on my way." Bang! You slid down the wall, listening to the sound of footsteps in the bedroom. Luke tried to calm you down as noises of burglars raided through your phone. There was no where to go. "T-they're in our bedroom-" "Listen to my voice Angeline, I'm right down street." Just as you went to answer him again, the knob to the bathroom door twisted. "Come on, open the door-Ah!" You could hear struggling, grunting, more struggling, then handcuffs going on. Another voice came to the door this time. "Angeline?" This time it was Luke. You unlocked the door and ran into his arms, crying in his chest as he kissed you and checked you over. "You're alright" he breathed in relief. "Luke, I was so scared." You held him tight, just glad he was there. He stroked your hair, soothing you.

"Its alright babe, I got you."
