The wolf stared at the girls with Its sharp teeth smiling at them, its snarled at the girls ready to attack at any given moment, it circled them watching them. The wolf's brown far moved like magic with the wind it growls a deep dark roar. neither of the girls knew how the wolf got through the veil between the two worlds "Don't move!" Valarie ordered her younger sister the fear running through them like a waterfall. All of her instincts were telling her to protect her sister find a way to get this wolf as far away from the two of them as possible.
"What should we do? play dead?" Laurel spoke up in a quiet voice, the wolf slowly advancing towards the girls circling. Valarie looked at her sister in disbelieve 'was she seriously asking that' sometimes she wondered if her sister was all there. "no wait, or is that for bears?" Lo continued talking, she usually does that when she's nervous or scared. The wolf inched closer and closer, Valarie focused on her knowledge of spells she and her sister have been learning throughout the years, there had to be a spell that can help them out of this situation a way to save her younger sister from being mauled but this wolf.
"nullam!" Laurel shouted towards the wolf, crossing her arms across her chest than releasing and it disappeared leaving them standing in the middle of the forest alone again with just the full moon as a witness. "it worked! oh my gosh, it really worked" she started jumping around with so much glee.
"what did you do? where the hell did you send that thing?" Valarie asked her sister snapping her out of her good mood, she started looking around the forest it was their responsibility to stop the wolf whether they are scared of not. "Laurel! where?" she yelled
"The school!"Laurel yelled back
"the school? are you insane? why would you do that?"
"it was the first thing that came to my head when that thing was staring at us like we were dinner, sorry for saving us" Laurel started pacing the forest having what she's done dawn on her the severity of the situation the danger she has sent to the mundane world. "oh shit, I messed up, we can still get to it before anyone notices a giant wolf walking around the school and lucky for us it's a Saturday, even teachers have to go home sometime right?" she started the walk towards the school, which wasn't far a two-minute walk.
"let's just hope no one is there right now," Valarie told her sister, catching up to her. they walked across the road towards the school, the gate that surrounded the school was locked but on the side, there was a gaping hole that they assumed the wolf made. "great, now it's damaging school property, mother is going to kill us" Valarie stated looking at all the damage. A howl came from the front of the school, and both girls head towards the sound. "What are we going to do? Once we find it" laurel asked
They didn't know, the only thing Valarie had in mind What's the find the Wolf and stop it from doing from hurting anyone. The rain through the school checking out rebuilding every dark alleyway making sure that didn't miss anything. Valerie started thinking about ways to come up with a way to lure the creature back into the forest and order to send it back through the portal.
"This time will use the transportation spell but send it back to the bottle or Scholls to the board it's again you got it?" Valery turned to see her sister making sure she understood this time on how to proceed. Her sister nodded Her head in understanding. they moved through the school checking everything building and alleyway for the wolf. the howling continued throughout the school the girls couldn't pinpoint the whereabouts of the sound.
"where is it?" Lo said frustrated I've been at it for 30 minutes and she's had enough, it was already 7 pm she just wanted to go home to rest to sleep. Just when she was about to give up she looked to her right and there it was she turned to her sister and said not her to wear the wolf was. " you ready Val?" Her sister showed a sign of agreement and they focus their energy on them all of the same place, this time she made sure to send it to the right place. "Nullam," they said in unison, The wolf disappeared, the girls ran as best as it could back into the woods where the wolf was sent. Once there the wolf was halfway through the portal, but struggling to stay in their world.
Valarie ran and without thinking pick up a branch from the floor and with all her strength she hit the wolf on the head, sending it flying through the portal back to where ever the hell it came from. "let's block the entrance Lo, now!" Valarie went back to her sister and took her hand in order to increase their power.
"obstructionum!" they said together, the portal collapsed and everything went dark in the forest. both girls fell back on to the ground from the exhaustion. The girls left the forest and headed to Valarie's car and they drove home. after the day they had, they needed to speak with their mother about what is to be done next.
