"vini sou ti frè, jodi a ta ka yè swa mwen fè sa mwen vle san yon odyans." I looked at my little brother, his long curly brown hair tied up in a bun on top of his head. {come on little brother, today might be my last night to do what I want without an audience.} we walked around the courtyard the guards were making their rounds through the castle, we hid in the shadows to keep from getting spotted by the royal guards. We stay put, The guards move to the other side of the Castle and we make a run for it towards the large gates. The trek to the portal wasn't long once we transformed into our inner selves, our wolves roamed the forest free this has always been my favourite time the freedom that came with letting lol my wolf out and giving him control it was freeing. The forest was large and beautiful full of trees and rivers, it was the perfect place to live at least that what I thought.

"Are you sure about this?" Sam asked me through the pack link they all shared being in the same pack. "Father will be upset once he finds out, he will send the entire pack to come and get us" he continued to freak out, about disobeying our father. My little brother, always the obedient son. "it will be fine, we will be in and out in no time at all. it starts before the moon rises and right now its mid day. we have time" his wolf ran ahead of me jumped over a fallen tree, even though Sam was freaking out about disappointing our father he couldn't hide that he was having fun too.

Once at the portal, my wolf gave me back control letting me turn back to my human form the whole process of turning back has become less and less . Looking up to the portal in the middle of the forest clearing with all the colours, the portal was forbidden for any packs from any land to pass through without the say so of the King. There was a time when the portal was used to travel to the other world to explore and bridge relations with the witches that call it home.

Stepping through the portal felt like going through a waterfall it felt freeing and calming. once on the other side we were standing in the middle of a forest it wasn't as dens as the forest back home, it was night here, the air warm and moist to the touch. "wow, its night here? umm Dan...the portal" Sammy spoke behind me but I was too busy smelling a sweet scent it took over my senses and my wolf went wild.

MATE!

My wolf screamed wanting to run to that sweet scent, it took all of me to hold him back. "Dan!" My brother yelled louder, turning around only to find the portal gone, how the hell did that happen?

"What happened to the portal?" Sam asked the very question swimming in my head at the moment. Sammy started pacing the forest looking for the portal that has just disappeared, we need to find a way back home before the ceremony began. "This is why we shouldn't have done this Dan!" Sam came back, shook his head he's always been the one to worry about everything.  A bit distracted I couldn't help but follow the scent of the person who my wolf Was so sure was my mate. It's like I can think straight all I could think about was that scent. "DANIEL! What the hell? Where are you going?" Snapping out of whatever trance I was in I turn back to face Sammy you looked scared I've never seen this scared before. " all we have to do is find the a witch  get them to open the portal and we're back home in no  time okay, you don't have to worry okay little brother,  not gonna let anything happen to you" walking over to him I pull him close, with what happened to him when he was younger to his family, his biological family both his parent and his older sister were killed in front of him. It was a time was war between Lycan folks and witches, but the witches went after all were-folks that included Sammy's family who had nothing to do with the war going on. Father being the Alpha king had the responsibility to all were-folks to protect them and lead them.

"we shouldn't have came here Dan" Sammy said
