I opened my eyes and tried to get a grasp on the senerio. I was on the ground and the three girls were hovering above me, engrossed in their conversation.
That's right, I fell didn't I?
The girls seemed to be arguing about something, but I was still to groggy to hear much.
"You shouldn't...it wasn't her fault... don't tell.." was all I heard.
I tried to get up but was automatically stopped by a sharp pain through my leg.
The girls attention were on me now.
"She's awake!"
"No kidding."
"Guys, now isn't the time for pointless bickering," Cece scolded.
She turned to me and touched my leg. I cringed.
"Are you okay, can you walk?"
I tried again and failed. Now my butt was hurting too.
"Here," she offered, and motioned me to get on her back. Dez and Francine helped too.
"Thanks," I whispered weakly. My self esteem was about as high as my basement right now. Why shouldn't it be, seeing as there was another performance from Ms. Screw Up.
Later that evening, my leg was bandaged and my forehead had a Band-Aid on it. I didn't even realize I had hit my head.
Francine went with the others to get a taste of the ice-cream in Germany, so I had the room to myself. At least my mom told me she would get me some. Though knowing her some chocolate chips were sure to be missing.
I sighed and laid down. Just as I was about to turn on the TV, there was a knock.
"It's open," I called.
In came the prodigal friends.
"Hey," Tony said. If he had a tail it would be between his legs. "Sorry about what happened."
"Yeah, same here," Jaden agreed.
"Naw it's no big deal, you didn't know."
I couldn't be mad at them for something like that, and besides, my mind wasn't even on that anymore. I was a little curious about what the girls were talking about.
"So what brings you here, I know that I'm certainly not more interesting than ice-cream."
Jaden put on a sly grin. "We're fast eaters, what can I say? Tony shrugged and I had to laugh.
"Only you guys, " I giggled.
Tony was looking at me with the strangest expression, awe maybe?
Psht, who would look at me with awe?
I ignored it, and the three of us actually had fun together, watching shows which language we couldn't even understand.
Who knew Germany could bring me do many ups and downs?
