*Naofumi's POV*
Taking a deep breath I closed my eyes for a few seconds relaxing as a cool breeze ruffled my unruly black hair. My feet carried me out the front door of my parents house and onto the bustling streets of Japan. As I worked my way through the wave of tourists and regular citizens, my mind wandered to certain events that happened in these past years which helped to define the lucky young man I am today.

I guess coming from a pretty loaded family had its perks especially when you're the oldest and were being spoiled by your parents with anything you want, which in my case was video games.
As I grew up my love for video games also grew, so much in fact that I began focusing more on games than my own studies. With my grades dropping and my video game interests growing, my parents pretty much gave up on their dreams of me becoming a successful adult. Instead they focused all of their attention on my younger brother.
They enrolled him into a prestigious school, making sure that he would live up to their standards to which he did.

However, all the stress from studying and the need to impress our parents finally made him crack. He began to become a trouble child and get himself into all sorts of trouble such as committing petty crimes like shoplifting or just skipping classes.
Realizing that my little brother needed help dealing with the stress, I decided to introduce him to the stress reliever I always used when I studied, video games.
Thankfully my tactics work, now my little brother has returned to his studies and quit all his trouble making ways.
As a thank you my parents awarded me with giving back my allowance which I now use as spending money to embrace my otaku lifestyle.
When I run out of said spending money I take small breaks from video games to go into the city.

Taking a break from video games to go visit the nearby library was a nice change of pace every once in awhile it also proved that I wasn't one of those so called "shut ins".

A couple of girls jog past me to join up with their friends peeking a quick glance at me as they rush by. Having caught my attention I look back a few minutes to find them whispering and giggling to each other while some of them glance back at me. All I was able to hear was "boy" and "cute" in hushed whispers but brushed it off as nothing. Continuing down the street, my eyes observed the variety of stories that lined up beside one another. Each window was decorated different from the last with signs that would advertise either a limited sold item or some sort of sale for the season. However, one little shop in particular seemed to disrupt the normality or brightly colored stored and flashy signs. My feet momentarily stopped in front of the quaint shop gazing at its different structure. Unlike the others, this small antique shop was colored a dark forest green with big windows on either side of the store allowing passerby's to peek into the dusty old space within filled with objects dated way back to what many people would consider "ancient times". An old scratched up mahogany door was stuck ajar by a door wedge allowing a musty nutty smell to greet those who entered.
My gaze lingered as I walked past before it was redirected to the large library doors that sat only a few blocks away.
Smiling my pace fastened as I made a bee-line for the library.
As I walked through the double doors my whole body relaxed. The smell of books with the quiet sound of murmuring readers comforts me.
My sneakers shuffled across the floor as I approached one of the many aisles of books. Gliding the tips of my fingers across the spines of books as my eyes examined each one thoroughly.
To no avail, none of the books caught my attention. I was about to leave the aisle before something caught the corner of my eye.
Back tracking, my hands traveled to the book.
At this point all I was focused on was the book not even acknowledging my surrounds.
It wasn't until my hand had brushed against something soft had my thoughts been pulled back into reality.
My green eyes snapped up as they connected with (e/c) eyes.
My eyes widen as I examined their face but before I could utter an apology, she spoke first.

"Oh hi Iwatani Naofumi, fancy meeting you here!"
