Maybe after about, let's say...10 minutes, Colby finally emerged from the shower.

He walked into the room, with just a towel around his waist, his abs, not to mention, visible, and his hair sticking to his forehead caused by the water.

Sam almost found himself drooling, but he decided to look away before something happened.

In the corner of his eye, he saw Colby drop the towel, and he panicked, but he let out a sigh of relief when he saw he had boxers on already.

Sam continued to do his homework while Colby got dressed.

After Colby put on some sweat pants, and no shirt, Sam felt the bed dip behind him.

Colby placed his chin on Sam's shoulder, and looked at what he was doing.

"Need any help?" Colby asked, seeing as Sam was 'stuck' on a question, when really Sam was panicking on the inside.

"Umm, no it's okay thanks" Sam said quickly, and Colby chuckled.
"Alright, just let me know if you need any help."

Sam nodded in response, and when Colby went back into the bathroom to brush his teeth, he let out the breath he didn't even know he was holding.

Sam finally finished the last question on his homework, and shoved his binder back into his bag.

He put his back pack on a chair, and jumped when feeling a pair of arms wrap around his thin waist.

"I love you Sam, you know that?" Colby asked, and hugged Sam for a good 3 minutes.
"I-i love you too, colbs" Sam said, and waited for Colby to let go, but he only held onto Sam tighter.

"Thank you" Colby whispered after a while. This, catching Sam off guard, made Sam soften, and not be so tense.
"For what?" Sam asked.

"Giving me a second chance. I was so horrible to you back then" Colby said even quieter, and Sam could've sworn Colby was crying.

Sam turned around to face Colby, and yep, he was crying.

"Hey hey, it's okay it's in the past now"  Sam assured, and pulled Colby into a tight hug, the right way.

They clung onto each other for a good couple of minutes before letting each other go, since they heard the front door open. They didn't want to play their luck with Sam's mom, so Colby just decided to start his homework.

His mom peaked her head through the door, and looked at Sam. "Sam, dear, can we talk real quick?" She asked quietly.

Sam hesitantly got up, glanced at Colby, and walked towards his mom.

She opened the door all the way so he could leave.

-

They were now in the kitchen, and his mom told him to sit down.

"So...ive been doing a lot of thinking, and I've come to the conclusion, that you guys probably love each other, a lot...?" She said, and waited for Sam's responce.

Sam nodded slowly, now feeling ashamed when he really thinks about it.

"Well..that's okay. As long as you two take good care of eachother, and be nice to each other, and not get one another pregnant," she paused and chuckled.

"Mooom" I whined, but giggled.

"As long as you guys keep up to my expectations, I'm..im okay with you guys, um dating" she said, and smiled.

Sam smiled brightly and hugged her tight.

"Oh and, by the way..me and Colby haven't officially started dating yet.. we've only kissed" Sam said.

"Well, you better get together, right?" She asked, and smiled.

Sam nodded.

His mom dismissed him, and he ran back to his room.

-

Colby looked at Sam as soon as he entered the room again.

"So?"  He asked.

"She's okay with us being together"

-

It was now the next morning, and Sam felt so much better.

He got up, and got dressed.

He woke up Colby, and after they were ready they left for school.

On the way, they saw Tara walking alone, so they decided to go up to her.

"Hey tara" Sam greeted.

"Oh hey Sam! Hey colby" she greeted cheerfully.

Sam was guessing she walked in the morning, and got picked up in the afternoon.

"How're you guys?" She asked, and looked at the two.

"Great! How about you?" Sam asked.

"I'm doing just fine. I stayed up late doing my homework so I'm kind of sleep deprived." She responded.

Colby smiled.

{ - At School - }
They walked into the school, Tara still rambling about how she really likes to be creative in her free time, but Colby was kind of blocking it out.

He started thinking about how bad he was to Sam and felt really bad again.

"God, why was I so stupid?" Colby thought to himself.

He found his eyes tearing up again, so he excused himself from the conversation and ran to the bathroom.

Sam got worried, and Tara looked at Sam with a "what's wrong with him?" Kind of look.

They quickly ran to the outside of the bathroom, but Tara had to wait outside since she isn't a guy.

Sam heard Colby crying in a stall, and got even more worried.

"Colby? What's wrong?" He asked, and pushed the stall open. He didn't lock it.

Sam hugged him. "Hey, what's wrong?" Sam asked, and was just genuinely confused right now.

"I started thinking about how bad I was to you" Colby said, shakily.

"Colby, I told you it's okay. You're forgiven. Don't worry, okay? I'm fine. The only thing that matters is that you stopped being mean, right?" Sam asked, and rubbed his back.

Colby nodded.

"Okay then. Let's go" Sam said after wiping a few of colby's tears.

They exited the bathroom.

"Are you okay?" Tara asked Colby worryingly. He nodded.

Tara seemed to let out a sigh of relief. "I thought something bad happened" she said.

Colby chuckled slightly. "Nothing bad happened"

"Good" Tara said, and hugged the both of them.

Sam was now realizing how good of a friend Tara really was and it made him thankful.
