Last night Eleven and I slept in the woods. We were afraid to go back to Mike's, we didn't want to get yelled at by him. What if he told his mom about us and she made us go back? We couldn't risk it, so we slept in the woods.

"Are you okay," I asked to Eleven. She seemed to be taking this really hard.

"No. He was so mad at us."

"We should have never gone with them that night." We were just walking around aimlessly in the woods the next day, trying to figure out what we were going to do. We walked through the woods until we found a store. We went inside and found some food. We were both starving. When we walked inside everyone was staring at us. It reminded me of another time Papa sent me into the Upside Down.

"Do what you did before, but this time stay here," Papa said as he directed a hand to his head. Then I was lowered into the bath and I closed my eyes and Eleven and I were both back in the Upside Down.

We walked around until we finally found the most perfect, ideal breakfast food, waffles. I grabbed four boxes and Eleven and I began walking towards the exit.

"Excuse me. Young ladies! You are going to have to pay for those. We ignored the man talking to us and we walked out of the store. To really make sure they wouldn't follow us, Eleven used her powers to slam the doors shut behind us. I heard the glass of the doors falling to the ground as we continued our trek back to the woods. After we walked far enough we sat down on a log and ate our food. These were a lot better warmer than cold.

As we sat on the ground eating our waffles we heard a faint noise, "El! Eve!" It was Dustin. Then we heard it again except this time it was Mike. They came looking for us. Eleven and I look to each other as we continued eating our waffles, and they continued screaming our names. Then they went silent for a moment before we heard Dustin screaming for Mike to run and Troy, the kid from the auditorium yelling after them.

"Let's go," I said to Eleven as I got up and began to run in the direction that we believed Mike and Dustin were running in. They ran down to the quarry and we got there in time to see Mike throw a rock at one of the mouthbreathers, but he missed.

"Nice throw, numbnuts," he said to Mike. Dustin held a stick in his hands and he ran up to Troy trying to swing on him. Troy overpowered Dustin and held a knife up to Dustin's neck.

"Let him go! Let him go," Mike yelled at Troy.

"Stay back, or I cut him," Troy yelled.

"What do you want," Mike asked Troy.

"I want to know how you did it."

"How I did what," Mike asked confused about what Troy was talking about. Eleven and I just stayed hidden off to the side as we thought of what we could do to help them out of this situation.

"I know you did something to me. Some nerdy science shit to make me do that."

"You mean piss your pants?"

Dustin cracked under the pressure of having a knife to his throat, "Our friends have superpowers. One of them froze you in place while the other got you to piss yourself. They did it all with their minds."

"Shut up," he said pushing the knife closer to Dustin, "I think I should save Toothless here a trip to the dentist. Help him lose the rest of his baby teeth."

"Let him go. Let him go!"

"I'll let him go, sure. But first, it's your turn."

"My turn for what?"

"Wet yourself." Mike looked to Troy with a confused expression on his face.

"What?"

"Jump...or Toothless here gets an early trip to the dentist."

"Stop! No," Dustin yelled.

"I'll cut him right now!"

From the bush, we were hiding in Eleven and I could hear Dustin start to whimper in fear. Mike looked up at the scene scared.

"All right, just hold on! Hold on," Mike said.

"Mike, don't do it. I don't need my baby teeth, Mike! Mike, seriously, don't!"

Mike continued to walk over to the edge. He looked so scared. I was scared for him. He stepped up to the edge, Dustin still screaming at him to not jump. Troy began counting down from three.

"Three..." Mike looked down over the edge and I made my way out of the bush, making my way towards Mike.

"Two..." Mike placed one of his legs over the edge, about to jump off, and I made it to where I could see him more clearly.

"One..." Mike walked off, but I caught him with my force field. I slowly, but surely, began to lift him up and back over the edge to where he was before he walked off. Eleven walked out of the bush as well and I placed Mike on the ground on the other side of the group who ran to the edge to watch Mike fall. After a second or so, Mike looked over to me and saw my nose bleeding. Dustin looked excited to see us and Eleven used her powers to scare the mouthbreathers away.

"Let's get out of here! Let's go," Troy yelled, running back down the gravel road.

"Go," his friend, James, yelled back.

"Yeah, that's right! You better run! They're our friends and they are crazy! You come back here and they'll kill you! You hear me? They'll kill you, you sons of bitches," Dustin yelled to the retreating boys. Dustin's voice grew distant and I felt weak and light-headed. I fell over, then I was back in the lab.

Eleven and I looked at each other as we entered the Upside Down, fear evident on both our faces. We looked around to see if we were truly alone, then we walked to the right. As we kept walking, we saw and heard the monster. It was disgusting, like a zombie, but faster and squishier. I poked its back and it turned and growled in my face. The face of the monster resembled that of a flower that has bloomed, except this flower had claws and teeth. Razor-sharp teeth. Eleven and I ran away and woke up in the tanks screaming and banging on the glass that surrounded us.

"Eve? Eve, are you okay," it was Mike. He was kneeling down to my level as he placed a hand on my shoulder. I just lay there flat-backed on the ground crying. I looked over to see Eleven wet-faced as well with Dustin next to her.

"Mike...I'm sorry," I sobbed to him.

"Sorry? What are you sorry for?"

"The gate...we opened it. We're the monsters."

"No. no, Eve, you and El are not the monsters. You guys saved me. Do you understand? You saved me." I cried more as I sat up and hugged Mike. Dustin was next to join in and then, finally, Eleven. We all sat there for a moment before Mike and Dustin decided to biked us back to the only home we have ever really known. We made it to Mike's and they dropped their bikes on the ground as we all made our way into the back entrance of Mike's house.
