Sophia
As the weekend arrives, I find myself truly excited about Lilly's party and most of I've set my mind on what I have to do with my life. I know that Zayn cheating was harsh on me but I know best that I need him in my life and that with him I was truly happy until I found out what happened.
So I started thinking if his behaviour towards me was different after he started cheating and realized that it wasn't. Zayn has been showing me the same affection since day one and he's always done what's best for me even the last three months.
People would call me an idiot for deciding to take him back but I know in my heart that he's a genuine person and after all, he's sorry about his actions and he's been showing me since we talked.
I haven't told him yet that I want to give our relationship a second chance and I will give it a few more days to see how things will go. I informed Lilly's manager thought that I won't need the condo and I'm sure that when Lilly finds out she will kick my ass. That's my final decision though and even though she's my best friend since we were children, she has to respect it.
I walk down the spiral staircase and a mug full of tea, dressed in leggings and a sweatshirt and my hair up in a bun, only to see Zayn in front of me again this time working on his laptop.
"Are you working?" I ask and sit on the black chair on the left side of the chair he's seated on top of the white dining room.
"I'm just answering some emails from my manager. Do you need anything?" He asks and looks at me seriously.
"Well, I'm invited to Lilly's house today, she's having a party, and I was wondering if you're interested to escort me there," I suggest and he stares at me surprised.
"You mean as your date?" He asks confused and I nod.
"Isn't that what a fiancé is supposed to do?" I ask and he smiles.
"Yeah... Yeah... I mean that's great, but do I get a second chance?" He closes his laptop and pushes it away carefully.
"Well, I thought about it and I'm pretty sure that three years of my life is a lot of time to just throw it away. So I'm thinking that we could work on things, maybe see a therapist... I don't know. I just believe that we've both made mistakes and I'm not an angel just like you're not and I believe that this is the best way to deal with this. Don't expect me to trust you again like before though, I need time to process everything a little more and I don't know if things will ever be exactly like they were before." I tell him with my hands wrapped around my mug and his smile significantly grows.
"That's awesome! I promise you that this time I won't disappoint you." He promises and I simply nod not falling for his words straight away, that happened the first time and look how ended up.
"So will you come with me to the party?" I ask again.
"I will, there's no chance I miss a night out with you." He smiles and leans in to kiss me only for me to move back a little and then after rethinking it letting him kiss me.
"You can sleep on our bed tonight," I mutter as I stand up and walk to the kitchen. "What are we going to eat for dinner?" I murmur and place my empty now mug in the dishwasher.
"I don't know, what would you like to have?" He asks and sits on the stool at the kitchen island while I clean the kitchen.
"I haven't had McDonald's in so long that I could eat my weight on chicken nuggets," I say more to myself and he chuckles.
"I'll go get us McDonald's then." He says and grabs his keys from the counter.
"I'd love that. I want ten chicken nuggets, large fries and a large diet coke." I say with a genuine smile on my face because I picking up food and I love when he does that for me.
