It took a few seconds for him to finally answer my call, but when he did I was excited.
"Hey baby! How are you?" I exclaimed with a stupid smile on my lips.
"Excuse me?" A woman's voice was heard on the other side of the line.
"Oh... I'm sorry! I'm calling on a wrong moment! Is Zayn there?" I murmured ashamed that his assistant answered probably through one of his meetings and I called her baby.
"I'm afraid he's not, he's having a shower right now." She murmured kind of bored and I stood there frozen trying to think straight.
"Wait wait. What do you mean? Is he not on a meeting right now? What do you mean?" I mumbled while my head was a mess trying to understand what Zayn was actually doing.
"Calm down girl! It's Naomi I thought you knew that hes with me, I mean Zayn told me that you're in an open relationship. You're finally spending a few days apart, remember? I haven't seen him in a while." She told me kind of shocked that I was callling, but I didn't care that moment. I wanted to talk with my fiance, the one that she's with instead of me. For God knows how long! What's going on?
"Give me Zayn now!" I held back the tears.
"I told you, he's in the shower he can't talk right now." She groaned annoyed. If she's annoyed what should I be? I was terrified because my life was slowly becoming a mess in front of my eyes and I couldn't do a thing.
"I said give me Zayn on the phone now! Now!" I yelled only to keep the tears back as long as possible. Someone was playing a cruel joke on me. Zayn can't cheat on me, we're getting married next year and I'm not waiting for him to answer the phone while I'm talkingwith his new girlfriend. I can't handle this.
"Baby what happened?" I heard his voice from the other side of the line only to make my blood boil inside me.
"Where are you Zayn?" I trembled and waited for a good answer.
"I'm in New York love. You already know that." He said with his phone annoyingly calm.
"Can you come back home and pack your things please? Otherwise I'll throw them in the trash." I tried to act cool, but now I only wanted to stab him just like he did to me.
"What? Love what are you talking about? I really don't understand what I did wrong right now." He acted shocked and I finally realised how good of a liar he is.
"Zayn please tell me the name of your assistant. What is it? Faith? Clair? Or Naomi? How many have you changed in two months? Couldn't you break up with me first?" The tears were now spilling from my eyes down my cheeks I couldn't be strong while listening to him act like nothing was wrong.
"I don't know what she told you baby, but she's just a secretary nothing more!" He turned all aggressive only for me to end the call or I would start yelling as well.
How did I end up here with the love of my life? We were supposed to get married and have a family and he just threw everything out the window. I need to talk about this with someone I need to tell this to someone, but all my friends are out of town and the only one here is Scooter, how could he possibly understand when he has this perfect life and mine just fell apart. I have to call him or I'll go crazy after all he's like a father to me and I know him for so long that he would get mad if I don't tell him anything at all. I quickly pressed his contact and when he answered with a voice full of joy I wanted to cry even more.
"Hey, Soph! How's it going?" He exclaimed and I burst into more tears. "Sophie, Sophia for God's sake what happened? Why are you crying? Do you want me to call Zayn?" He said worriedly.
