We get back to the hotel just when the sun is setting and the sky has a gorgeous lilac colour. I follow Zayn down the hallway and we get to our suite, he opens the door letting me walk in first only to face a dim-lit room filled with candles in every corner and red rose petals leading me further inside.
"What the?" I mumble and turn to look at Zayn confused because I thought we were going to relax at the jacuzzi in our balcony today and that's all.
"Happy four years, Soph." He smiles at me and I cover my mouth that is hanging open with my hands.
"Is it today? I'm the worst fiancee ever! I forgot about it! You're so sweet, baby." I almost cry out and wrap my arms around his shoulders kissing him passionately.
"It's okay, I wanted this to be a surprise either way." He wraps his hands around me and kisses me in an even more affectionate way. "Do you like it?" He whispers and bites my earlobe lightly making me shiver.
"It's unbelievable." I tremble and reach for his lips again.
"There's more." He smiles and shows me the way, letting me walk first to the bedroom.
As soon as I get in there everything's covered with even more candles and the bed along with the floor are filled with rose petals as well. I look around and notice in the corner a small gold cart with a bottle of champagne and two glasses along with everything I asked earlier that day when I thought that it was for the movie we would watch after.
"Is there more or are we staying here?" I ask and start walking to the bed but he reaches for my hand.
"The bathroom." He smirks and I turn to look at him surprised.
"Are you serious?" I ask but still, get in there only to find the room in the same condition as the rest of the suite with the huge bathtub filled and hundreds of petals sitting on top of the water.
"Absolutely!" He wraps his arms around my body and places his head on my shoulder, leaving a soft kiss on my neck.
I look around amazed and take a deep breath while I take in everything. I turn around and place both hands on his shoulders as I start kissing him softly. "This is the sweetest and most beautiful thing you've ever done for me," I whisper while our lips are close and our eyes still shut.
"Do you like it?" He asks while caressing the side of my face softly and smiling at me.
"I love it," I answer and place my hands on the hem of his shirt pulling it up slowly. "I think we should get in before the water gets cold," I suggest and let go of his shirt and it falls on the floor.
I proceed to take off my dress and in a matter of seconds, we're both seated in the big bathtub naked. I take place on top of his thighs and my hands naturally rest on his shoulder while we look at each other in the eyes lovingly. I don't know if it's because of this magical place or the fact that we have worked so hard lately for our relationship to work, but I finally feel free to breathe and enjoy him, us.
Most of my days have been filled with confusion and uncertainty about us since we got back together. I have been thinking that we will never work out after everything that happened between us and the pain that he caused me. I was probably wrong though because right now at this moment I feel the same way I did when we first got together.
I lean my head down his shoulder and wrap my arm around him while he pecks my skin softly, his lips running through my exposed skin. He shifts softly under my and his eyes look at mine one more time. "What are you thinking right now?" His soft voice sounds like a dream in my ears.
I breathe in and close my eyes for a moment so I can put my thoughts in place and then open them again with everything I want to say in mind. "I'm thinking that I'm very happy right now and that I want this moment to last forever. I also think that this might end any time soon. I don't know if everything's a dream or my reality. It just seems too good to be true." I say everything I've been thinking for so long and he smiles placing a strand of hair behind my ear.
