I walked upstairs to Payton room to apologize. I didn't wanna make her mad, it's just I like her A LOT. She makes me so happy and don't feel right being mad with her. I was definitely about to tell her I like her. I can't keep hiding my feelings like this.
"Payton" I knocked on her room door. I heard her smack her teeth.
"COME IN" she yelled. I opened the door and she was laying in her bed with her legs crossed and her phone.
"Why you left" I asked closing her door. She smacked her teeth.
"Yo you really got mad at me for no reason. I told you I'm not fucking with that boy or nobody else" she said sitting up on her bed as I sat on the other side of it.
"Payton want me to be honest with you?" I asked her and she shrugged.
"It is what it is yo" she said texting on her phone.
"I like you" I told her and she looked at me.
"I know" she said smiling and I leaned back on her bed.
"No I mean like I like you like you." I told her and she looked at me shocked.
"You mean lik-" she was cut off as my nieces walked in her room.
"We fennda find out the gender." Lai said excitedly.
"Ok we'll be down there" I told them and they closed the door.
"Well I like you too but I honestly don't wanna rush into a relationship. I like being friends" she said taking the words right out my mouth.
"Bet. Imma make my girl one day so don't be out here fucking with nobody" I told her and she smacked her teeth at me getting off her bed.
"Vice Versa. Don't be having me out here looking stupid" she said and I smiled. That was my shorty.
"I could never. Now let's go" I told her as I got off her bed.
"Bet" She said and I opened her room door and walked downstairs.
"Payton lemme talk to you for a minute" miss Tasha said and she shook her head no.
"Nawl you good" she said as we walked outside.
"You not gone talk to your moms?" I asked her and she looked at me as she sat in her seat.
"Nawl im good" she said and I nodded my head ok.
"Ok everybody come to the front" amarin said as she held the ballon that had a question mark on it.
"If your team boy please be on this side girl on the opposite" Pierre said. Payton walked to the boy side and I stayed on the girl side.
