It's Friday and I was so ready for school to be over with. I hadn't even got there yet and I was already ready to go. Me and August wasn't talking AT ALL. He text me ever day saying Goodmorning & he wanted to know how I was doing. I simply ignored him. I have nothing to say to him and whatever we had is done. No friends nun of that.
Now I'm not gone lie, I miss him A LOT. Over the past two months I've grown a very strong liking for August. I try to deny but I can't. I really care for him but I refuse to keep showing it. I will not do anything if I don't feel appreciated and that's just PERIOD.
"Payton we're riding with you" amarin said as she knocked on my door.
"Aye" I said as I tied my shoe. I heard my door open and I heard amarin footsteps enter my room.
"I'm not coming home straight after school" I told her as I stood from the edge of my bed.
"Why not?" She asked putting her hands on her hip.
"Well I'm going to the gym after school and I also plan on going out with Jeremiah tonight" I told her as I put my hair in a bow. I didn't feel like straighting my hair.
"You really done with August?" She asked as she leaned on my bathroom door. I picked the bobby pin up and stuck it in my head.
"Me and August never had nothing going on" I told her as I put some gel on my edges.
"So you and Jeremiah do though?" She said and I shook my head no closing my gel top.
"No, were friends" I told her as I walked past her.
"Payton I don't like this" she said and I looked at her sideways.
"What? I must look ugly or something?" I asked unplugging my Apple Watch.
"No girl" she laughed "I'm talking bout you and August" she said and I rolled my eyes putting my Apple Watch on.
"There is no Me and August. Never will be" I told her and I grabbed my phone and keys off my bed.
"Payton y'all really done?" She asked me and I turned to her nodding my head yes.
"I'm not talking to August about nothing else so can we stop discussing him?" I asked her and she sigh walking out my room.
"Damn" I said once I realized i was early this morning. It was only 6:32 am school didn't start til 7:30.
*30 minutes later*
"Ohh let me get up" I said once I realized it was 7:02.
I grabbed my keys and phone off the bed once I hopped down from it. I check the mirror one last time before cutting the light off. I cut off my room light before walking out of it. I turned the corner walking downstairs as my phone went off with a text.
