Chapter 1

Afrah's POV

We were at the airport to bid Ammiey,Abba(My parents),Mammiey,Baba(Mimi's parents),and Abbiey(Hanan's Dad,her mom passed away) goodbye at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport while waiting for their flight to be called.Our families are really close so our parent actually go to Hajj together.

I wrapped my arms around Ammiey's shoulder whining"Ammiey naaa,am already missing you Wallahi".

"Ke Afrah wannan shagwa'ba haka ko nae'el ba ya yi (Kai afrah this type of childishness even naeel does not do it)" she said making Ya Adil mock me

"Haba Ammiey you are making ya Adil to mock me".

"Adil I do not want to see you doing that"Ammiey told ya Adil and I stuck out my tongue at him.Just as he was about to speak we heard a females voice boosting out from the speakers- this is to inform all passengers boarding the flight G47K82 to Madinah to go to the boarding gate.

We started bidding them goodbye and that was when Hanan started crying saying she will miss Abbiey(her dad). He was consoling her and Abba was calling him so he had to go but Hanan didn't stop crying until Ya Adil promised to treat us to coldstone and that shut her up right away.

We drove into Ya Adil's Mercedes with me and the Baes(only Hanan and Mimi)without forgetting to remind Ya Adil of his promise to Hanan

"Kai Afrah it was not even you I promised". He jeered at me.
"But coldstone is baeeee"

"But it's not you I promised"

"But she is my bestie"

"You tell us Hanan,should we go?"I said sending her a glare saying don't dare say no.

"Urm..... yes" she whispered

"Yayyyyy!love you dear"I said

"Urghhh........ girl power" He moaned.

We drove straight to the Gwarinpa parlor and started ordering our ice cream while Nabila(our cousin who stays with us) was making a puppy face for Ya Adil to buy her pizza and he couldn't resist her or else she will start crying saying nobody loves her. We had our ice cream cups and a chairman pizza- yeah Nabila's work.

We were enjoying ourselves when Anty Shaimau decided to bless us with a phone call saying that since Ammiey and Abba are not around we want to turn into karuwai(prostitutes) by not coming back home. Can u imagine!

We were at home with me and the baes(My friends) getting ready for our sleep over when Mimi decided to tell the most annoying person aka her brother that Mammiey and Baaba allowed her to have a sleepover at my house.

We started wearing our pyjamas and Hanan(My Best Friend) the insolent girl with no manners decided to wear my favourite pyjamas so as to annoy me and believe me when I say she is really doing a great job.

We were at the parlor watching Aladdin when Ya Adil and Ya Imran(Anty Shaimau's 26 year old son also Ya adil's age mate) decided to grace us with their presence as he said.

"Haba Ya Adil this is an all girls night fa." I said

"Kai Afrah can't we enjoy with the "baesss" too". He said air quoting the baesss
