ELIZABETH

I have been having weird nightmares, visions- childhood memories and other things with pirates of the girl named Kinzi.

I was only 12 when I first saw her a beautiful princess, is all I can say about her. She had flawless, fair skin. Teary black orbs, long brown hair.

"Hello, my name is Elizabeth," I said trying to ease the crying figure, she was on the ground in the middle of the dirt path. The trail led to a small beautiful pond, that I was happy to discover.

"Kinza..." she barely whispers. Literally, I had to read her swollen lips.

"Kinzy, what are you doing here?" I asked a small wind hit the forest rewinding her neatly tangled hair and fanning it behind her like a laundry line. She jolted, running back off the path into a brush. And getting tangled by plants and thorns, she didn't scream, but a few whispered cries escaped her swollen mouth.

"Kinzie, what are you doing?!" I tried to be gentle, but another loud scream from the wind whisked my words and made the louder then I had intended them to be.

"Stay away, barbarians, all in all!" She screeched and tried to run, but I didn't let her.

"It's okay I won't hurt you, I am your friend. I am a really good friend to all my classmates and mostly to William my knew first guy friend."

"But I am not still allowed to be friends with them, they won't allow me too, with you either." She said with a small expression on her pale face.

"But I am no man or boy-"

"You're from port royal aren't you?"

"Yes but still, I wanna be your friend."

"No," she then jerked back and began running to another pathway into the dark forest.

But that was the start of it, of our small meetings, then we became friends, a friendship none of us noted, but it had become between us. I began to love her for it, I began to realize her for it until I turned 15 and she went without saying goodbye. I didn't see her, for so many days I was not worried, not devastated, I was mentally dead until I was forced to forget about her. But I didn't.

I heard the voices of the filthy skeleton-like pirates yelling at me, I noticed it was morning, was I really just thinking about Kinzy for that long?
