Your mood was depleting. All morning you begged for Sakura to help you with the essay or at least spare her notes. When she did eventually share her notes with you, you were met with the disappointing contents of last week's topic- not the topic you were covering now and were in dire need of.
Having a general idea of what you were writing about was kinda important to you.
Her excuse was that she would start the essay near the end date- which would be plausible if it weren't for the fact that Kakashi-
Kakashi-sensei didn't go back to review anything. Ever. That meant that once something was talked about (or written) you better hope you wrote it down because he would never talk about it again.
Unless you specifically asked, but you were definitely not going to do that.
You argued this point to Sakura and then she told you that she was thinking about dropping the class. Excuse her! The nerve.
What were you going to do without her? She was your translator for god's sake. Everything Kakashi-sensei wrote down you were unable to read- and many other students would agree with you. It wasn't just you- so you would go to Sakura for her notes because somehow, she could read that loopy shit.
It was a miracle to you.
And that miracle was thinking about dropping the class.
You had to stop pestering her after that. You couldn't allow her to think like that. You always went back to the line you used to tell yourself; if it isn't talked about, it isn't thought about.
Was that a motto? Wait- was that your motto. Wow. You were pretty good at this.
Going back to the issue at hand.
Sakura was out of the question.
Why exactly was she postponing the essay?
Because she had to spend the whole of this week preparing for the party which was happening on Saturday- it was Tuesday today- and she didn't want to start the essay after the party either because of the withdraw the party might give her.
What.
The withdraw the party might- you didn't understand it and you weren't going to try either. What did she think going to a party was going to do to her. Unless she was planning to bathe in a load of drugs and alcohol- which you really doubted. This is Sakura you were talking about- nothing extreme was going to happen. Maybe get a bit drunk and wake up with her head stuck in the toilet, but that was the extent of it.
And she needed that much time to prepare!
This wasn't some coming of age movie. What did she think was going to happen, and Ino was in on this whole thing too? Christ, these girls. You loved them, really. But sometimes you couldn't understand them.
Ino was out of the question too since she basically relied on Sakura's notes like you did (and she was busy with Sakura for their week-long shopping spree of finding a dress that they'll probably never wear again).
(As Well as many of the other students in class. You're pretty sure she got more popular after people started realizing she could actually read what Kakashi-sensei wrote (If you were Sakura, you would be charging them for the translations she gave).
You knew that Kakashi-Sensei had extra classes every Tuesday and Thursday for all of his students. Which basically was a class where he would answer any questions the students had. You would have gone to those but this was something that took place after school. Daycare only lasted until 3 o'clock and after that time the expenses go up- which would be fine but your parents are already doing so much for you- and you could get a babysitter but you just weren't ready for that.
