"Here we are," I announced awkwardly stumbling while unlocking and opening the door to my hotel room.
"This is quite lovely, innit?," he said before closing the door behind us. "Not too bad for a cheap 'otel. You had my hopes very low," he teased, plopping down on the end of the bed.
"I have some kind of standards when it comes to where I sleep," I joked, tossing my shoes in a corner.
"Then how come you sleep with me?"
"Mmm, because you're sexy," I said, sitting behind him and snaking my arms and legs around his body, "and you're sweet," I added, kissing the back of his neck. "And I like you a lot." I continued to trail kisses up and down the sides and back of his neck, earning heavy, lustful sighs. "What is it about you that draws me in so much?"
"It's the bangs," he joked, fluffing his bangs before resting his hands on my legs. "I dunno," he added softly, stroking my thigh with his thumb. "Maybe we've jus' got lucky chemistry."
"I guess so."
I could feel his grip on my thigh tighten when I ran my hands down his chest and began unlacing his striped pants. We had had a few drinks before heading over to get my belongings, but things were about to get a little more interesting.
"What should we do first?"
"I don't know," I replied, feigning innocence as I slid my hand into his pants. "What do you think, Razz?"
"Fuck, I have a few ideas already," he breathed out. "God." He reached back and tightly tangled his fingers in my hair.
"Oh, pray do tell," I purred before erupting in tipsy giggles.
"Well, I think you should come over here and get on-"
The phone began to ring, and at that moment, I began to hate phone calls just as much as babies in movie theaters.
Razzle's head dropped slightly and he chuckled. "Should you get that?"
"I'm not expecting anyone."
"Maybe it's room service," he suggested.
"Doubtful. But you're welcome to the beer that's in the fridge," I chirped before walking over and picking up the phone. "Hello?"
"Sadie! It's Nikki, can you hear me?"
"Yeah, hi." I glanced at Razzle, who was now standing in the kitchen, helping himself to a bottle of beer. I picked up the disposable camera that I had left on the counter, flashing a picture of him, earning a playful head shake. "What's going on?"
"I can't do this anymore. I'm coming to get you," Nikki barked through the phone.
"Excuse me? No, you aren't," I pulled my eyes away from Razzle and set the camera down.
"I am, get over it. You're coming back on the road with me and the guys."
"No, last I checked I didn't want to. It's not happening, Sixx."
"You're coming back with me, one way or another... even if I have to marry you to get you to listen to me!"
"Marry me?! What the fuck are you talking about? I don't want to marry you; you're a stubborn, proud asshole, and I don't want you!" I growled, feeling the lie flutter in my stomach.
Part of me would always want him, and that's just how it had to be. That deep and long of a relationship with someone always leaves a mark, but today, I was too angry to give a damn.
"You'll get over it. I'm bringing you home with me."
"No, you aren't."
"I already landed; Doc gave me the address to your hotel and I already called a cab."
He spoke as if he was in charge and offered the be-all-end-all option, which only angered me more. I had no idea how he could be falling apart at the seems, and yet he was so locked onto me as a target.
"Don't bother. The room will be empty when you get here; The locks will be changed," I mimicked, clenching my jaw and slamming the phone back into the cradle.
"What just happened?" Razzle asked, his eyes wide with confusion.
I wasn't sure if I was going to laugh or cry. Drunk or sober, I had outrun and escaped from Nikki Sixx many times in the past, but I was not looking forward to explain anything to Razzle.
"A lot at once." An involuntary, frustrated sob left my body.
"Oh, lovie, what's wrong?"
"We have to get out of here. Nikki's coming and I don't want to see him."
"Oh... alright, well," he looked around, the definition of bewilderment plastered on his face. "Let me help you with your things?"
I could tell by his tone that he was confused, but too tipsy to want to get into it.
"It's a lot to unpack at once, but I'll tell you whatever you want to know. I promise."
"Alright, can we first address the Nicky," he pointed at himself, "and Nikki thing?" he added, pointing at the phone.
"What are you talking about?"
"Nicholas Dingley," he said with a smile, placing his hand on his chest.
"Ahhh, Nicky... got it. That's obviously a coincidence. A surprising one," I said with a tired chuckle.
"Should we get movin'? I can tell you're upset."
"Please. I just want to avoid any problems. I'm not ready to be thrown back into the circus yet."
"Understandable. Get your things together; I'll carry your bags. Jus' throw it all in."
In under twenty minutes, we were stumbling towards the elevators, carrying everything that I owned in suitcases.
