It was a day unlike any other, nothing different just the same day after day. The thing that's different is the news in the newspaper different stories about what's happening around the world. Every day I wake up, go eat breakfast, get ready, and go to school. My classes are literature, math, science, p.e, and home economics. When I get to the school the teacher starts attendance. Rachel Crow-beck, Lilian Osborn, Michael Jones, Carry Mitchell, Jonas Stern, Mark Dickens, Maryann Simon, then there's me Noah Jacobs. The year is 1877 of February the 5th. Nothing happens in this particular day but it changed my way of viewing something so simple and an everyday thing to do.
The teacher gave us an assignment to do and I found it kinda strange, we had to write a letter to an unknown student from a different school, who will volunteer to be our pen pal.
The assignment was due next Wednesday, so I tried to come up with what to write but it was harder than I thought it. Days passed and I still hadn't wrote anything down, tomorrow was the due date. I stayed up late trying to write down something, anything, finally around 2 in the morning I got my assignment done, and head to bed.
