Nyla rested her head against the smooth metal wall with a groan. Her whole body ached in pain and all she wanted to do was sleep, but she very well couldn't with the images of the fight being burned into her mind and keeping her from drifting off.Tony's beams clashing against Steve's shield.
Wanda tossing things around in the air as Pietro dodged them haphazardly.
Natasha and Clint trading heavy blows with each other.
Seeing how furious her mom was and then watching as she emerged from the ruins of the control tower that Vision had taken down with an expression that Nyla couldn't make out. The Quinjet had soared into the air seconds later and with Tony and Rhodes giving chase, Nyla knew the game was up.
"The rest of us aren't getting out of here."
"As much as I hate to admit it, if we're gonna win this one, some of us might have to lose it."
And they did.
When Secretary Ross showed up with guards by the dozen, none of them hesitated to surrender. They didn't need to fight anymore, but the only spark of controversy that riled the team Steve had gathered up in anger was when a guard clamped a heavy black collar around Wanda's neck.

Natasha had watched the guards carefully as they restrained Nyla and the last thing she'd seen was the face full of worry that she wished she could apologize to.
The cells they'd been assigned were shaped in a circle and through the thick, steel bars she could see Clint across the dark room, his palms flat against the wall and his head hung low. That's when she heard the hiss of a door opening and the click of footsteps.
Clint began to clap.
"The Futurist, gentlemen! The Futurist is here! He sees all! He knows what's best for you, whether you like it or not," Clint mocked Tony as he stepped into the light.
Nyla slowly pushed herself to her feet. The wariness that gathered in her chest was sliced with guilt as she realized that she didn't trust Tony's intentions of being present.
She wished she didn't feel that way.
"Give me a break, Barton," Tony started, sounding irked, "I had no idea they'd put you here. Come on."
"Yeah, well, you knew they'd put us somewhere, Tony."
"Yeah, but not some super-max ocean floating pokey. You know, this place is for maniacs. This is a place for..."
