"jungmo should've told me that he's got a date with you. i could take care of kim minkyu instead."
as soon as hyunbin finished talking, it was continued with him yelping, as seol elbowed him hard on the stomach. hyunbin just won't shut up for a second about her and jungmo going on a so-called-date and keep teasing her about it. she should've learnt to filter her words in front of moon hyunbin as he would just misinterpret.. too late that now she's regretting it.
a groan escaped her before she defends herself, "it's not a date. and speaking of him, where the hell is he?"
she is starting to get irritated over the lack of response jungmo is showing right now. as she has been texting him asking where the hell he is because their movie is going to any soon. they have to drive there for about fifteen minutes without the traffic, and she refuse to see a speeding driver koo jungmo.
there is no way he forgot about it too since he is not the kind of person who break promises. the whole time they've been friends, not even once he forgot about their promises to one another. he is that guy best friend you all see from books.
she explained this to hyunbin numerous times, but he once said it'd be weird for him to not have feelings for you since he's putting you as a priority above anything else. she immediately brushed that mindset off, as she doesn't want to develop feelings, deeper than it is now, and has her hopes high only for it to be crushed.
hyunbin checked on his wrist watch, "he should be back in a minute, don't worry, he won't forget about his date."
he tried to reassure her, but it didn't come out like a reassurence. it sounded like a tease since he emphasized on that specific word, again.
"it's not a date! stop saying that." she blurted out, hyunbin nods like he's agreeing to not call it a date anymore.
though his remark, once again says otherwise, "well maybe if you aren't denying it that much it wouldn't be too obvious."
"okay i'll just shut up, and you better too." seol said, pursing her lips. besides why the hell is hyunbin still doing here with her? she told him to get lost before but he refused. hyunbin has always thought seol is too fun to not tease.
"jungmo and seol sitting in a tree."
just when she thought hyunbin finally shut himself up for a second. seol cracked up on his joke and before he could continue singing the shitty song, "pfft, a whole comedian, my lungs gave up on me."
seol says in between her laughter. she was about to smack hyunbin on his head because he's being extremely annoying, only if hyunbin didn't dodge and caught her hand when it was thrown in the air.
their laughter filled the room.
"i think i'm missing out something here."
that's clearly a familiar soft voice, it kinda makes her melt. not to be dramatic or something but jungmo could do a radio for hours talking about his guitar or other nonsense she would listen to it.
seol didn't even notice him entering the room, maybe it was because she was too annoyed by hyunbin. she didn't hear the door creaking open or the sound of his steps or something, neither did hyunbin—or so she thought. but she's definitely not about to discuss about that right now because something came up to her mind.
