2017 ― Sakaar
"No, not trash. Were you waiting to just call her that? It doesn't start with a B.""They're wonderful. Aren't they?" The Grandmaster said to Valkyrie. Thor was strapped down to a chair, while Nikita's hands were cuffed as she stood next to him. Valkyrie only nodded her head. "I love when you come to visit, 142. You bring me, just the best stuff." He said, and then he turned to the woman on his other side.
"Whenever we get to talking, Topaz, about Scrapper 142, what do I always say? She is the. . and it starts with a B." The Grandmaster said.
"A bitch?" Nikita asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Trash." The other woman said. The Grandmaster first looked at Nikita.
"No, not a bitch." He said, and then turned to the woman in yellow at his side. "No, not trash. Were you waiting to just call her that? It doesn't start with a B." The Grandmaster said.
"Booze hag." The lady said.
"I'm so sorry. No, 'best.' I was thinking about 'best.' Because I always say you're the best." The Grandmaster said to the Valkyrie before turning to the other woman. "She brought me my beloved champion, you know." He said.
"You say that every time she's here." The lady said.
"What have you brought today? Tell me." He said.
"A contender, and his lady." Valkyrie responded.
"A what?" Thor asked.
"And his who?" Nikita said back.
"I need to go closer. I want to get a closer look at this. Can you take us closer? Thank you." The Grandmaster said. The other lady got behind his chair and started to push him closer towards Thor and Nikita, and as he looked over them, he nodded his head. "Pay this lady." He said.
"Just wait a damn minute! We're not for sale!" Thor exclaimed, lifting his hands from the metal that bounded him, but then Valkyrie initiated the shock in his neck again.
"Man, he's a fighter." The Grandmaster said.
"I take 10 million." Valkyrie said.
"Tell her she's dreaming." The other woman spoke.
"For heaven's sakes, transfer the units." He said, and once she did, the Valkyrie started to walk out and she walked past Thor and Nikita.
"You'll pay for this." Thor gasped out.
"No, I got paid for this." She said as she left, and the Grandmaster stood out of his seat and walked down in front of the two of them.
"Here's what I wanna know." The Grandmaster said, attaching Thor's hands back down to the chair. "Who are the two of you?" He asked.
"I am the God of Thunder!" Thor yelled, bringing his arms up once again and Nikita noticed the small lightning that radiated between his fingers.
"Wow, I didn't hear any thunder, but our of your fingers, was that like sparkles?" The Grandmaster asked, and then he looked at Nikita. "And you, what about you? Are you the Goddess of anything?" He asked and Nikita rolled her eyes.
"I don't know what you want from me, I'm just a simple scientist." She said. The Grandmaster then looked at the other guards around.
"Take her to the room."
―
"Where did they take you?" Thor asked Nikita when she and Loki suddenly appeared in the dungeon that he was being kept in. They took her to where Loki was. The Grandmaster took favor in her, mainly because she knows how to play on the weaknesses of all men and he took the bindings off of her wrists and put her with Loki.
"I'm fine." Nikita said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Hurts, doesn't it? Being lied to. Being told you're one thing and then learning it's all a fiction." Loki spoke. Thor picked up a rock that was next to him and threw it at Loki, but it went right through him, because the two of them weren't actually there. Nikita wanted to see Thor, and Loki offered this because they were least likely to get caught and thrown in there with him.
Loki laughed. "You didn't think I'd really come see you, did you? This place is disgusting." Loki said, as Thor threw another rock that went right through him. "Does this mean you don't want our help? Look, we couldn't jeopardize our position with the Grandmaster. You want Nikita safe, don't you?" Loki said. Thor looked up and Nikita shrugged.
"He's a lunatic, but he can be reasoned with." She said.
"What I'm telling you is, you could join us at the Grandmaster's side. Perhaps in time, an accident befalls the Grandmaster, and then. ." Loki trailed off and pointed to Thor, and then he pointed to him and Nikita before gesturing that they would just leave. Thor only threw a rock.
This time through his face.
"So, you're just going to sit there and say nothing?" Nikita asked. Thor had his hands folded together across his torso, and his eyes were only on his brother. Nikita rolled her eyes to see that Thor was ignoring her.
"You're not seriously thinking of going back, are you? Our sister destroyed your hammer like a piece of glass. She's stronger than all three of us. She's stronger than you. You don't stand a chance. Do you understand what I'm saying here?" Loki asked him, but Thor only continued to sit and stare and Loki scoffed.
"Fine. I guess I'll just have to go it alone. Like I've always done. Would you say something?" Loki asked, and Thor continued to sit in silence, which was now starting to irritate Nikita. "Say something!" Loki snapped.
"What would you like me to say? You faked your own death, you stole the throne, stripped Odin of his power, stranded him on Earth to die, releasing the Goddess of Death. Have I said enough or would you like me to go back further than the past two days?" Thor asked, and Nikita looked to see that Loki was really affected by his words.
"You know, I haven't seen this beloved champion he talks of, but I've heard he is astonishingly savage. I've placed a large wager against you tomorrow, don't let me down." Loki said. Thor threw a bottle, but Loki made himself disappear although Nikita remained.
"Anything you want to say to me?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What can I say? You've made it very clear that you're upset with me." He said, and Nikita rolled her eyes.
"Obviously, I'm upset with you Thor. You keep making me all these empty promises. In 2011, you promised to come back, I didn't see you again until 2013. That time was great and you stayed and you were here, and then after Ultron, you promised to come back and here we are, 2 years later and if it wasn't for Heimdall, I would've never found you." She said.
"I don't mean to make you think you're not a priority, you are." Thor said. Nikita rolled her eyes because for the last six years, a priority is not what she has felt like. "I asked if you wanted to come with me." He said.
"In search for Infinity Stones that we don't even know where all of them are. I didn't want to go on a wild goose chase. I just wanted you to stay." She said, and Thor sighed.
"Nikita. ." Thor trailed not knowing what to say, but she had already gestured for Loki to bring her back and right before Thor's eyes.
She disappeared.
