[5]: The Contest

"He's a friend from work."

"Wow. Look at all of you. What a show! What a night!" The hollogram projection of the Grandmaster was in the middle of the arena that Nikita sat in with Loki. Well, they were in a special closed in place, like when you go to a basketball game and you get box seats, like a VIP room. It was time for the contest, and Thor was fighting against the Grandmaster's champion, which actually made her nervous. She knew Thor was incredibly strong, but she just felt nervous about how he was going to do without his hammer, because he has always relied on it for fights.

"And now, without further ado, it's main event time. Making his first appearance, though he looks quite promising, got a couple of tricks up his sleeve. I'll say no more, see what you think. Ladies and gentleman, I give you, Lord of Thunder." The Grandmaster said as Thor walked out and Nikita's eyes widened.

He had on his armor, and his cape, still of course. He had a makeshift shield and some other makeshift weapons, and two red streaks going down his face, but then she noticed his haircut. It looks freshed, but it looked good. And although she loved Thor's long hair, the overwhelming sense of attractiveness that he's always been went to new heights with his haircut.

"Wow. ." She mumbled to herself, but everyone was boo'ing him. They must really love this champion of the Grandmaster's.

"Watch out for his fingers, they make sparks. Okay, this is it. Let's get ready to welcome this guy. Here he comes." The Grandmaster said, and Nikita noticed that green smoke started to get shot off through the air as the ground rumbled, and she stepped closer to the window in their 'VIP' box as she was referring to it as she grew more curious.

"He is a creature. What can we say about him? Well, he's unique. There's none like him. I feel a special connection with him. He's undefeated." As the Grandmaster spoke, Nikita noticed that Thor put on a helmet that she didn't even realize he was holding. "He's the reigning. He's the defending. Ladies and gentlemen. . I give you. . Your Incredible. .-"

". .-Hulk!" Bruce Banner as the Hulk exclaimed as he walked out. Nikita's eyes widened. She hasn't seen Bruce since Sokovia, and this is where he ended up. Bruce has been here, and he's probably been the Hulk for the last two years.

"Oh my god. ." Nikita whispered.

"I have to get off this planet." Loki said, turning around to leave, but Nikita heard Thor exclaim in excitement about having to fight against Bruce, which made the crowd fall silent, but as Banner got the crowd excited and they started chanting 'Hulk,' Thor looked up to the 'VIP' box where he saw the Grandmaster sitting on one side of the couch and Loki and Nikita sitting on the other side.

"We know each other. He's a friend from work." Thor said. The Grandmaster looked over at Nikita and Loki, and Loki looked down as he cleared his throat, while Nikita kept her eyes forward. She couldn't believe it was really Banner.

"Where have you been? Everybody thought you were dead. So much has happened since I last saw you. I lost my hammer. Like, yesterday, so that's still pretty fresh. Loki. Loki's alive. Can you believe it? He's up there, with Nikita." Thor said, pointing towards the box, making Banner look their way.

"Loki! Nikita! Look who it is!" Thor said. While Loki looked completely horrified and embarrassed, Nikita only frowned. She knows that Bruce probably has no idea what's going on and he's probably tried to get back to normal so many times.

"Banner, I never thought I would say this, but I'm happy to see you." Thor said, as the crowd continued to chant Hulk. "Banner! Hey, Banner!" Thor said, and Hulk turned around.

"No Banner. Only Hulk." He said.

"What are you doing? It's me. It's Thor!" He exclaimed as Banner ran at him. He jumped in the air and when he came down, Thor rolled out of the way, realizing that he really was going to have to fight him. Nikita sat in her anxiety watching two people important to her fight. They each got in a couple of good hits, but then Thor grabbed Hulk's weapon out of the wall and used it to smash Hulk into the wall.

And as Banner got closer, Nikita noticed that Thor was trying to calm him down, but then Banner grabbed him and slammed him down from side to side, before throwing him across the arena. "Yes! That's how it feels!" Loki exclaimed as the Grandmaster looked at him. "I'm just a huge ran of the sport."

Thor and Banner continued to fight as Nikita saw Thor was starting to get the upperhand over Bruce. They were both now only fighting with their hands and not weapons. But Thor rolled out of Banner's grasp and came down on him with a weapon, that Banner caught in his hand before standing up and punching Thor across the arena, and then he started to pound his face in as he laid on the ground.

"Oh my god, Thor. ." Nikita said, standing up from the couch and quickly running back and out of the VIP box, sometimes it takes more than one strong force to get Banner to calm down, and she wasn't going to let him just pummel Thor out there on his own. Nikita navigated her way through the arena and the crowd, and the crowd gasped as she now stood in the arena as Banner continued to punch Thor with so much force that his helmet came off.

Nikita closed her eyes, and felt her energy radiating through her, the anger she felt that Thor was getting the life beat out of him and instead of that white/yellow energy that came in Sokovia, actual fire surrounded her hands. "Banner!" She yelled, firing off a blast at his back, as the lightning overtook Thor's eyes and body and together, they both blasted Banner backwards with such a strong force.

The two of them stood together, fire around Nikita's hands, lightning coming from Thor's entire body and his eyes were completely white as well and he and Banner ran at each other. Thor's punch sent Banner back to the ground, and a burst of energy throughout the arena as they started to chant for him.

"Thunder! Thunder! Thunder!"

As Thor approached Banner, Nikita noticed that he started to seize and he fell down to the ground. Hulk jumped up into the air and Nikita knew what he was going to do, he was going to come down on Thor and she couldn't let that happen, so as he came back down, she stood over Thor and shot fire up into the air and as Banner came down, Nikita used the fire to blast him away from Thor, much to the crowd's surprise as they started chanting something new.

"Fire girl! Fire girl! Fire girl!"

Just as the boys get new suits every movie, seems Nikita has developed new powers every time we see her. And look at that, even though she was upset with Thor, she still helped him.
