Chapter 7

Flashback

You look through the dark room. Panic fills your lungs while breathing becomes difficult.

"Where am I?" You think by yourself. Too afraid to speak or even move, you keep laying still on the cold floor. The pain in your head and neck is killing you.

You try hard to remember what happend before you passed out. How did you get here?

Suddenly, the memories are coming back one by one and now you wish you wouldn't remember them. Flashbacks from your dead parents are flashing in front of your eyes.

You start to tear up but you're still too afraid to make a noise. The fear clings on your heart and in the dark room you start to cry in silence.

After some time, someone starts to open the door which is right in front of you if you listen to the sound. The door opens and 5 men walk in.

You squeeze your eyes from the bright light that shines into the room. When you managed to open them again, another man kneels in front of you.

"Hey there little girl.. How are you?"

You don't answer, too afraid of what he would do.

The man raises an eyebrow. "I understand you are scared. Let me tell you something. The world is too dangerous for you. You've seen what hamlend to your parents... but here you are safe, little girl."

Finally, you managed to say something. "I'm not safe here.. You killed my parents." You say with a tiny voice.

The man chuckles deeply while signing at another person to bring something. "So you remember? I knew we had to do it the hard way. If you want to be strong little Soojin, you must be able to tolerate pain. Let's see if you can do that."

Before you could back of, someone puts a syringe harshly into your neck. You scream from the pain while your eyes light up to light red.

"That's right. Show me those eyes. You are born with that gift and will die with it. There is no change I can take it from you. That's why your power is mine so from now on you obey me."

His evil laugh is the last sound you hear before losing conscious.

End of flashback.

"Hey Soojin! Soojin! Hey, are you okay?"

Suddenly you look straight into the eyes of Taehyung. "W-what happend?"

"Your eyes turned white all of sudden. It looked like you were on a different planet." He looks at you... worried?

"I.. I'm fine" You try to walk away but you get stopped by Taehyung grabbing your wrist. "Hey, are you sure? It didn't look like you were fine. You cried."

Embarrassed, you whip the tears from your cheeks. "This never happend!" You remove your wrist from his grip and walk away.

You hear him shout your name a few times but you ignore it.

Since when are you so weak? Why the heck did you have a flashback in front of him? You never had that. You can't control dreams but you normally should be able to control sudden flashbacks.

You stop walking when you reached the entrance from the club. "Alright just calm down, it's almost day so Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo will come soon." You think by yourself.

Right after that, Lisa and Jisoo walks out with a very drunk Jennie. "What happend?" You ask worried.

"Looks like she saw her ex Brain but instead of coming to us, she started to drink." Jisoo answers while giving her drunk friend an angry look.

"I'm fiiiiiiiiine!" Jennie shouts while laughing.

Lisa sights deeply. "Keep quiet. We are going back to school. It's already 6AM."

She turns now to you while smiling. "I hope you had a good meal because we- Wait.. Did you cry?" She asks worried when she saw your red eyes.

"Ah no, the mascara I'm wearing irritates my eyes." You try your best to smile.

Still, Lisa doesn't look convinced but decides to let it rest for now.

While walking home, Taehyung keeps appearing in your mind.
