Chapter 12

You put your hands down slowly when you recognize the voice.

"If you are here to laugh with me because I lost control over my powers, then make it quick. I'm sick of all this sh*t."

"I'm not here for that.. Princess." Taehyung stands all of sudden in front of you. "I'm hear to talk."

You stand up before he could blink his eyes. "Why don't you understand?! I don't want to hear anything from you anymore! I can't Taehyung! I can't!"

Once again you are losing your control.

Almost the same height as Taehyung, you still need to look up a little. Staring into his eyes, you feel anger raising up in your body.

"I really can't Taehyung! So leave me alone!" You shout again while the tears are building up into your eyes.

He doesn't move and keeps staring into your eyes when they turn into the typical light red colour.

You hit him on his chest but he still doesn't move a muscle. "Just go away! I don't-"

Before you could hit him again, he holds your hand that was about to hit him again. "Soojin..."

He whispers your name so soflty that it breaks you.

"I can't Taehyung... I'm too weak for this. Please." You whisper and beg him when the tears are rolling down your cheeks.

You don't even care that he holds your hand or that he sees you crying.

All of sudden, he pulls you closer towards him. "No, you are not weak. I know what you have been through. I know everything and that definitely doesn't make you a weakling. Don't you dare to say that."

You stare at him with widen eyes. "How can you know? How do you know about the Blacks." It takes you all the power of the world to get that name over your lips.

He holds your hand now with both of his. "I know that they are dangerous and I know a lot more. I have my reasons." He looks at you but you don't look into his eyes.

Avoiding eye contact you try your best to get your brown eye color back.

"I just want you to know that I'm here for you. I will keep you safe but you need to trust me." He takes hold of your chin allowing you to make eye contact with him.

Shaking your head lightly, you look into his eyes. "I can't trust you Taehyung. I just can't.."

"I understand. Take your time to get to know me. Our first meeting didn't went well so let's start over. Also don't worry, I'm not working with the Black's." He says the last sentence while staring deeply into your eyes.

You have so many questions right now but the only one that comes out is. "Who are you?"

"I can't say that, Soojin. You have to trust me" He looks at you hopefully.

But you really can't. You don't know him at all and you are too afraid.

Then you finally notice that you are standing very close against him and that he is holding your hand. You free yourself from his grip and take a step back.

"Why are you here? How can you even sneak out of class? The teacher would never let you leave."

He shrugs his shoulders casually. "If you are good at acting then you can be very believable that you are suddenly really sick." He says while putting his hand on his forehead.

You can't help but laugh a little. "Smart move Taehyung."

A smile appears now also on Taehyung's face. "I made you smile"

But then he turns serious. "Actually Soojin, I came here to apologize to you. I shouldn't have said all those things about your past. I should have know how difficult it must be for you to talk about that."

You look at him confused.

He chuckles deeply. "Yes, this badboy knows how to apologize Princess."

You look away again. "I forgive you. The only problem I have is that I probably will have a punishment because of what happend in the class"

"No, don't worry. I will make sure they won't do that." He smiles.

Once again you look at him confused. "Ow, okay. Thanks."

"Well I think it's almost lunch break. Let's go to the refectory."

You nod your head slowly. "Yes, sure. Let's go then."

While you walk with Taehyung to the refectory, questions are building up into your head.

'Who is he? How does he know so much about me? Why does he want to protect me? Why is he here? And can I really trust him?'
