You're a mess, tangled with your confidence
You think you haven't sinned
Well, you're unstoppable
Your walls are impassible
~
She was one of those girls who didn't care about what others thought, but no matter what, she always had a self-destructive side to her. The ying to her yang, water to the fire, but she never thought of it as bad, quite the contrary actually. "It builds my character. I couldn't live without it" she had said one night during one of her midnight reflection sessions.

She was very headstrong and determined, when she set her mind on something, she did it with no regrets, no one could hold her back, not even me. Sometimes I think to myself if she ever did really care. The walls that she built around herself were like bulletproof glass, what it contained was inaccessible. Forbidden, even.

Though she kept me around, it sometimes was clear that I wasn't what she wanted, she'd give off little signs, that slowly made my heart fall apart. Now it was completely gone, metaphorically, of course. It had nothing left to beat for, no more reason to keep up its job.
