Dad- "Go get in the truck" I told Lissy

Lissy- I got into the truck and looked over at my Dad. I could tell that he was mad at me. I was instantly regretting my decisions a couple of hours ago.

-Flashback to couple of hours ago-

Maddie- "Come on Lissy"

Lissy- "I don't know Mads. I don't feel like getting in trouble"

Maddie- "Come on please"?

Lissy- "My Dad told me no. What do you think I'm going to do? Disobey him'?

Maddie- "That never stopped you from doing anything Lissy"

Lissy- "Whatever"

Maddie- "You coming or no"?

Lissy- " Yeah I guess I will but I will need to figure out a way to get out of the house first"

Maddie- " Tell him that you're sleeping over at my house. My parents will be there"

Lissy- "Maddie my Dad wouldn't let me. He hasn't let me go to a sleepover only have them. Except for Grace"

Maddie- "Come on please"?

Lissy- "Fine I'll ask"

-Skip time-

Lissy- " Daddy"?

Dad- "If you are asking me if you can go this party you asked me earlier, you can forget it"

Lissy- "I wasn't going to ask that"

Dad- " Then what"?

Lissy- "I was wondering if I can spend the night at my friends house tomorrow night"?

Dad- "Which friend"?

Lissy- "Madelyn Edwards. She's was in my homeroom"

Dad- "I don't know Lissy"

Lissy- "Her parents are going to be there. Please Dad"?

Dad- "I guess you can....."

Lissy- "Thanks Daddy"!

Dad- " But... "

Lissy- " Why is there always a but"?

Dad- "Lose the attitude"

Lissy- "Sorry but it's true"

Dad- "You can forget about sleeping over with that attitude"

Lissy- "Sorry Dad"

Dad- "You are to keep me updated what your up to. Not every moment but every hour or so. Let me know if you are leaving the house for any reason. Call me before you go to bed" Got it"?

Lissy- "Yes Sir"

Dad- "Another thing make sure your phone is on at all times if I need to reach you and make sure you charge it as well"

Lissy- " Will do"

Dad- " Then you have permission to go"

Lissy- " Thanks Daddy"!

Dad- " Your welcome"

-Next Day-

Dad- I dropped Lissy off at Maddie house and also meet her parents as well. They assured me that they would keep an eye on them. I then drove to the palace where we had a case.

-Meanwhile-

Maddie- "Girl your Dad is very overprotective"

Lissy- "Same as your parents. Your Dad told my Dad that he would check on us every hour"

Maddie- "Yeah good point so how are we going to sneak out"?

Lissy- " How am I supposed to figure that out. All I had to is get over here"

Maddie- " Look we need to figure out something or we stay here"

Lissy- "Ugghh....fine I'll think of something"

Maddie- "I'll help you"

Lissy- " What time does your parents go to sleep"

Maddie- "Around 11ish. It depends on what they are doing and if they can get my siblings to bed on time"

Lissy- " Hopefully they go to bed when they are supposed to"

Maddie- " Highly doubt that. Whenever there is guest over they get even more hyper than usual"

Lissy- " Just great"

Maddie- " Anyways I thought as for us getting ready to go. We can play dress up"

Lissy- " Maddie seriously? Aren't we a bit old for that"?

Maddie- "Lissy"

Lissy- "I know what you meant by that"

Maddie- " Good"

Lissy- " Would it work"

Maddie- " Yeah totally. My little sisters will see us and want to join us which would make it more believable for my parents"

Lissy- "Oh yeah we can act as if we are playing around but in reality we're getting ready. Smart idea"

Maddie- "Thanks cause I don't know what else we would do if that doesn't work"

Lissy- " When should we go this"?

Maddie- "Probably after dinner time"

Lissy- "Oooooo....what if we do that before dinner with your sisters and act as if we are going out to eat somewhere fancy or something'

Maddie- "That is actually a good idea. It would make it more realistic. I'll go get my sisters so that we can start"

Lissy- "Great"

-Dinner Time-

Lissy- " Thank you Mr and Mrs. Edwards for having me over"

Mr. Edwards- " No problem Lissy. Please call me Andrew"

Mrs. Edwards- " And please call me Ana"

Andrew- "I didn't know we were having celebrities over for dinner. Did you hun"? I asked my wife

Ana- " No I was unaware of this"

Lissy- "Are you okay with this Mr. Edwards"?

Andrew- "Yes I am but I wish I knew this earlier so that I can be more dressed up for this and please call me Andrew"

Lissy- " Thank you Mr. Edwards....sorry I mean Andrew"

Andrew- "Shall we eat"?

Ana- " We shall. Maddie get your brothers"

Maddie- " Yes ma'am"
