Dad- "Lissy can you get the candy please and put it into a bowl"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "Allyssa"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- I grabbed her phone out of her hands
Lissy- "What the hell"!
Dad- "Language Allyssa"!
Lissy- I rolled my eyes "What is it Dad"?
Dad- "I asked you a question"
Lissy- "Didn't hear you"
Dad- "If you were paying attention then you would know"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I asked you if you could get more candy"
Lissy- "Can't you do it"?
Dad- "Yes but I'm asking you to do it"
Lissy- "Uggghh....fine" I said getting up
Dad- "Keep up with the attitude and you will lose your phone for a day"
Lissy- "You wouldn't"? I said as I turned around
Dad- "You know that I would Allyssa" I stated firmly
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "Go get the candy and you will get your phone back"
Lissy- I went into the kitchen and put some candy into a bowl. I went back into the living room and placed the bowl onto the table next to the front door. "Can I have my phone"?
Dad- "Are you going to be more respectful"? I asked
Lissy- "Yes"
Dad- "Remember if you are disrespectful towards me again. You will lose your phone"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Okay then" I said handing her phone back
Lissy- "Thank you" I said then sitting on the couch again
-Few minutes later-
Lissy- "Hey Dad"?
Dad- "What is it"?
Lissy- "Can I go out tonight"?
Dad- "Where"?
Lissy- "To.....uhhh party"
Dad- "What kind of party"
Lissy- "Just a party"
Dad- "No"
Lissy- "Why not"?
Dad- "Because going to a party on Halloween is not going to be safe"
Lissy- "You never let me go to any parties"
Dad- "Because those parties are not safe. I don't want anything to happen to you"
Lissy- "Come on Dad....please"?
Dad- "No Allyssa. Im sorry but we can do things here instead"
Lissy- "Please Dad? I'll do anything"
Dad- "No Allyssa. You don't have permission to go"
Lissy- "But...."
Dad- "No buts Allyssa. End of discussion"

Grace- "What is it"?
Lissy- "There's this party north of Honolulu. We should go"
Grace- "Did you ask your Dad"?
Lissy- "Yeah"

Grace- "What about him finding out and you getting your butt busted"
Lissy- "You should come"

Grace- "I don't feel like getting into trouble"

Grace- "Ummmm....100%"?
Lissy- "Look I'll go. You can be a boring person and be lame"
Grace- "I'm not boring or lame"
Lissy- "Then come with me"
Grace- "Uggghhh.....fine"
Lissy- "Great. Are you staying with your Dad"?
Grace- "Yeah I am. Remember we are coming over tonight"?
Lissy- "Oh yeah. We can ask if we can have a sleep over when you guys get here"
