Daniella

"You did not!" I said in a fit of giggles as I held my stomach from laughing so hard. After JJ had led his team to victory, we decided to exchange numbers and stay in contact.

"I am not kidding. It was the senior prank," JJ said honestly from the other side of the phone, his smooth deep voice rumbling with a hint of amusement.

"You guys really put Mr. Beaumount's house up for sale?" I asked referring to our french teacher in high school who had annoyed everyone.

"It was hilarious! We put it up for like one-third of the cost so everyone wanted it. So during class, he kept answering his phone and telling people his house wasn't for sale."

"I wish I could've been there to see his face," I said honestly and it got quiet between us for a second.

"Daniella--" his voice was cut off by the sound of my alarm going off and I quickly hit it before looking at the time.

"JJ, it's seven in the morning!"

We had stayed up all night talking on the phone.

"Damn it's morning already," he said from the other side of the phone before I heard some shuffling around. "I guess I should let you go and get your day started."

"Yeah I guess your right," I told him and it got quiet for a moment.

"Daniella?"

"Yeah?"

"What are you doing today?"

"Babysitting. Skylar and Will wanted some alone time so I volunteered to babysit for the day."

"Oh okay. Well, I guess I'll talk to you later then?"

"Sounds good. Goodnight Jermaine," I said teasing him causing him to laugh and I couldn't help but picture his gorgeous face and addicting smile.

"Goodnight Daniella."

Hanging up the phone, I fought the urge to smile as the butterflies in my stomach fluttered uncontrollably. There was just something about that man, I thought to myself before slipping out of bed and heading to the shower, hoping to leave all thoughts of Jermaine Jackson behind me.

"Good morning!" I said as I entered the kitchen and Skylar stared at me curiously as I moved around the kitchen. "What?"

"Your smiling?"

"Yes, am I not allowed to smile?" I joked and Skylar eyed me warily before taking a step closer to me.

"Have you been smoking?"

"Skylar!"

"Did you get some last night?" She questioned, ignoring my previous outrage.

"Skylar we came in at the same exact time remember?"

"Then what the hell has gotten you so chipper this damn morning."

"I can't just be happy?"

"Nobody is just 'happy' at eight in the morning. Either you've been smoking or you are getting some. So which is it?" She asked and before I could respond, the front door opened and even before I walked in, I knew it was him.
