Dec gets out and slams the car door behind him. 'I can't believe I'm about to do this. I could at least give it a shot?' he muttered to himself. He was half and half. Angel vs Devil. He didn't know what to do anymore. 'Just face it. Nothing will ever get back to where it was. I have no idea what either of us did to deserve this. Did we say something? So something? I just don't understand!' He walks inside and his management team is standing there, waiting on him. The greet him with a "hey Declan. How're you holding up?" Dec shoots them a look and sarcastically says: "fine. Just perfect. Never better." and rolls his eyes. The team look at each other and one of the producers looks at them as if to say, "I got this." before following him.
He knocks on the open door of the dressing room to see Dec sitting somberly on the floor. He walks in and sits next to him. They sit in silence until Tom, the producer, figures out what to say. He clears his throat before starting. "Sometimes in life bad things happen. Horrible, heartbreaking things. And sometimes, it's for no reason. It doesn't mean you did anything. It doesn't mean your mum did anything. It has nothing to do with anything, really. It just happens. And it's horrible. But think about how boring life would be without trials to overcome, lessons to be learnt, and chances at redemption. Life is about falling down and picking yourself back up. I know it seems impossible with no way out right now, but think of all the kids out there that look up to you. Would you want them to give up when life got hard? Or come back stronger?" Dec wipes a tear from his cheek. "You can go through times like this, not because you're a celebrity, but because you're a human. We're all human. There is nothing wrong with that. So many people in this era tend to dehumanize celebrities, and it's not right. I know personally, I idolize you for your ability to be able to say, "I'll do it." It means that you're stronger than whatever it is you may be facing. And Ant is so sorry. He feels so bad. He said he'll do anything to make it up to you. He said you deserve whatever awards, praise, or good wishes you might get. He says he doesn't deserve anything. The money, the job, you. I am a firm believer in the fact that sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together. If you remember one thing, remember that everything will happen for you all of a sudden and you'll be thankful you didn't give up. Blessings are coming." Dec starts sobbing and lays his head on Tom's shoulder. "It's okay. Shh, shh, shh. Everything'll be okay." He wraps his arm around Dec and lays his head on top of his. "It's okay." "I miss him." Dec manages between sobs. Tom replies with: "I know. I do too. We all do. Now why don't you try to sleep a little bit?" Dec nods and curls up on the floor. Tom gets up, turns out the lights, and closes the door after whispering, "I'll get in contact with Ali and let her know what's going on."
