It didn't matter what I wanted anymore. I already knew that very clearly. It was time to cooperate with a stupid android even if I didn't want to.

Fowler, after the stupidity I said, told me that if I was rude again, I was going to say goodbye to my job as a detective. Now I'm on a fucking ice floor around Nines. Nice day I am having.

Already after the 'introductions', we headed to our positions. Nines silently turned on the computer to look for cases in which we could go. On the contrary I started to finish an earlier case in which I had dedicated myself to closing. I put my cup of coffee on the desk and looked at Nines. This android raised his hand and the same screen appears.

Did something happen? ]

"We exchange numbers or whatever you have. You know if we can't communicate from afar it would be a disadvantage. I'll just give you my number." I told him before taking out my cell phone.

Nines observed me, listening as I told him my number to enter it in his data. I don't know how androids do that but it wasn't my business to understand.

[ I will send you a message now. ]

"TING."

I looked at my cell phone to see a message of a number similar to an Android serial code.

{ This is my number, detective. }

Enter the number in my contacts. I just let it be Nines since he hasn't given me something bad enough to make me angry. I didn't have to listen. Although there was something very interesting for his mysterious reason not to speak. When I looked back at my screen I saw an open case, I looked at Nines in question. Just to see a comment from him.

We just had this report when we were at first sight. ]

"Well, let's go then. I'll finish this later." I reply while getting up, closing the recent file I was working on.

We headed to my car in silence towards the crime area.

~~~~~~~
Upon arriving at the place, Chris was already there securing the place with a couple of androids from our unit. Chris greeted us before looking at Nines, who nodded in greeting.
"Let's look."
We pass inside a pretty house outside. "What is this about?"I turned to Nines to get the file he received. I started reading the file just when Nines sent me a message to be looking at the evidence.
When reading the documentary of the report it is said that such a family had a party for the little birthday with an android in which the clown primarily attacked the android who shared the same day as his day of being sold. After attacking and affecting the already divergent android, the boy moved to defend it.
I passed the body of the boy next to his android. I looked at the document again. He says that the android prevented the boy from getting hurt. Look at the other evidence, next says that laughter is the best medicine. What an interesting thing.
"Nines?" I looked up to see where I had seen the android for the last time but it was no longer there.
I looked around, nor saw Chris nearby. What the hell is going on now? It was already my first day with Nines and I have already lost it. I closed the file to go to the kitchen.
Nothing.
Where the hell are you?
Where the hell is Chris too?
"TINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!"
I took out my cell phone to see a weird message from Nines. It was just a message in binary code. I regret not having practiced enough.
Hey you, future me, for the love of anything, learn the damn binary code.
I could only identify very letters slowly.
{01000100 01100101 01110100 01100101 01100011 01110100 01101001 01110110 01100101 00101100 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01100011 01100001 01110010 01100101 01100110 01110101 01101100 00101110}
Well let's see. That's one says ... Detective. I already had at least one half of the code.
B-e
C-a-r-e-f-u-l.
What?!
I heard two accelerated steps going down. I went to where the stairs were to see our criminal and Nines following him. I went in of his way to try to stop him even a little while.
