He reached for her hand and with a quick tug he had her in his arms and walking as quickly and quietly as possible, Ximen reached for the small office just before the bride’s room. He’d been waiting for Xiaoyou to come back from retrieving the gift she’d left at his home due to their morning extracurriculars which left them both running late but it had been worth it. Ximen had done his part and checked in with the groom who was half dressed and clearly not worried about trivial things like time and the hundreds of people waiting outside the door. That’s what love does to you, Ximen knew, it makes you focused on who was important and doing whatever it took to make them happy. And that’s what he intended to do, he thought, as he put down a protesting Xiaoyou, locked the office door, smiled a knowing look, kabedonned her against the door and hooked his finger into the sweetheart neckline of Xiaoyou’s dress to pull her close.
