Si walked into the garden seconds before seeing Shancai enter from the opposite side of the enclosed space and they paused to drink each other in and smiled. Here in this secret garden they had planned Shancai's perfect wedding where they could privately exchange the vows they'd written and have their first kiss as husband and wife without nameless people gawking at them for the benefit of their companies and family connections.
They closed the final feet towards each other and Si put his hands on his love's waist and pulled her close only to have her reach up and tug on the loose ends of his tie.
