Tails' POV

Looking at my back, I saw five white fox tails swaying.

I kept looking at it, until the door of my and my twin sister's room opened.

I looked in front of me, and saw my sister, Ahri, who looked just like me, save for my white hair, white fox ears, and white fur.

She entered the room, with her usual smile filled with innocence.

Seeing this, I couldn't help, but feel hesitant to do this, but I know that I want this.

I need this.

"Lil' sis...."(Me)

I said with a serious, but sad tone.

And of course, my sister knowing me well, knew something was up, and her smile turned to a frown.

"What is it?"(Ahri)

Seeing her like this, made me bite my lips, and I had my left hand grip my right arm, and she noticed this.

Seeing my guilt, she became sadder.

"Sis....I'm....sorry."(Tails)

It was all that I needed to say to make Ahri nearly cry.

"But, we already talked about it. I want this. I'm sorry. I'll run away, and I'll get stronger. Please, lil' sis....let me-"(Me)

I didn't need to say anything else, and I felt Ahri hug me.

"I....know. You can't get any stronger here. But....please...just stay with me for a bit. Let me cherish this moment with you. I don't know how long it will take."(Ahri)

Feeling sad because of what I'm doing, I hugged back.

I hugged this beautiful twin sister of mine, for even I will not know how long I won't be able to see her.

I may love her, but, I have to get stronger.

So that I can find mom and dad.

So that me and Ahri can be with them, who left us because of their reason of being weak.

So, I promised to get stronger, so that I will protect them.

After what seemed to be an eternity of hugging, Ahri finally calmed down, but she was still teary eyed.

Giving the best smile I could muster right now, I showed my pinky finger to Ahri.

"Ahri, my twin, my sister, my....best friend, promise me, that I won't be the only one that gets stronger. When we see each other again, you will be someone strong too..."(Me)

I say, and Ahri intertwined her pinky with mine, and smiled.

"......Of course."(Ahri)

"And....promise me that you won't date anyone until I say so."(Me)

I only said it as a joke, to make her smile wider, but was surprised by what my twin said.

"Pfft! Of course I won't! Because, the man that I'll ever love like that is my brother!"(Ahri)

As kids at the age of 6, we don't have that much thoughts about relationships, but I was more mature for someone my age, so Ahri probably doesn't know what I meant, but I'm sure that she will realize it once she grows up.

I can't have a boy I don't know lay a hand on my twin.

Who knows, maybe even Ahri wouldn't know that he's only in it for her beauty, and not who she is.

"Okay, lil' sis. I love you."(Me)

"I love you, too!"(Ahri)

#Time skip:Ten hours later#

After running away from the orphanage, I made my way to place called Demacia, where champions were born.

People who were strong.

And there, I will train and get stronger.

Tails' POV

After finishing up my mission, I saw Aatrox and Draven, my fellow work mates in this Hunter guild called, League of Legends, and also my friends.

"Hey, Tails! Haven't seen you in a while!"(Aatrox)

"Yeah! You didn't see me lay waste to that village filled with trash!"(Draven)

Aatrox's ability made him look like a devil of sorts, but that didn't bother me, and Draven liked to kill people, but that also didn't bother me.

"Sorry, guys! Had a mission to kill a leviathan."(Me)

I said cheerfully, making everyone in the lobby freeze in place, looking at me in disbelief, except for some friends, including Aatrox and Draven.

"Damn! You'd obviously be given a mission like that! Your the only one with the ability to do so! Hahaha!"(Draven)

"True. Not that many can turn into a huge fox god."(Aatrox)

To what Aatrox said, I corrected.

"Not a fox god, but close."(Me)

"Still a fox god! Haha!"(Draven)

He said with his usual laugh following after.

Sighing internally, I made my way to my room to start pack.

'17 years, lil' sis. We'll finally see each other again. I'm just sorry that....mom and dad are already dead. But still, I hope that you're having fun with your group. K/DA, huh. Hope to listen to you live.'

I thought to myself, continued to pack my stuff.
