Delsin and Naruto Short Stories: The Life Of The Conduit Shinobi

It was a good year after the fourth great Shinobi war. Everything was calm and cool since then. The nation's were at piece with one another so less fighting was being issued through the nation's which have them time to develop their own village. Their alliances were strong and holding all thanks to two people.

One was a blonde knucklehead shinobi with the power of Nine Tails at his command and the other was a brunet conduit with the power of the Six Paths. Yes, these two we're Naruto Uzumaki, world's famous hero and Delsin Rowe, this generation's Sage Of Six Paths. These two along with a certain Uchiha whose halfway across the nation exploring, have sigle handedly saved the world from Kaguya's rage and sealed her back into the moon.

They were basically hailed as rockstar's where ever they go and it was a bit much at times but they still loved the positive attention, it was better than the negative attention they used to carry to themselves. Due to Naruto being a jinchuriki of Kyubi and Delsin being a conduit back in his world, life just loved putting them down. Right now, the boys are in a certain ramen resturant upon the blonde's request, eating their brunch.

The two had changed a lot in their year, and a lot stronger too. After obtaining they're powers from the previous Sage, they took numerous opportunities to train in them after the war, making the three the most powerful shinobis in the land, especially the new appointed Sage. Naruto had grew again to be one of the tallest of his graduating class, cut his hair short, and wore a black elastic forehead protector. Over his pants and sandals, he wears a black uniform jacket with an orange zipper and buttons on the waist and sleeves, which can be folded up at times. He has a red armband with an Uzumaki crest on his left arm. 

The most noticeable change was his right arm. After battling Sasuke, the duo lost their respective arms in their last Rasengan vs Chidori clash, with him losing his right arm and Sasuke, his left. Though Unlike Sasuke, who decided not to have his replaced, Naruto got a bandaged prosthetic arm made from Hashirama's cells and it worked like a charm. He was even going around saying he might be able to use Wood Style and be even stronger, stronger than Delsin but everyone he tokd this to knew it a was a blatant lie.

Delsin had changed a bit too. He cut his hair too but immediately regretted though and opted to grow it back and longer so his hair remarkably stayed the same but he now has two normal eyes now. After Hagoromo gave him his eye back and eventually the power to awaken the Rinnegan, he learned to deactivate it himself along with the Tenseigan he got from Hamura. He was able to still use Laser Focus and Laser Vision now and even better so it was a win.

He was happy he didnt have to go around hiding his eyes like Sasuke, who pestered him on learning how to deactivate the Rinnegan. He had changed his attire after the war too. He now wears a short sleeve mesh shirt and over it a cut sleeves denim jacket which stretched down to his lower hamstrings with his bird logo on the back. Over his head, he lost the Konoha head band and donned a new black one that had the kanji for 'Six Paths' on it.

He wore black ANBU pants and wore black tall sandals and also wore Hiraku as his necklace. He also drapped DreadFang on his hip like a regular swordsman, opting to keep it with him at all times. "So" Delsin started as he slurpped up his noodles. "How's Hokage training going? Is Kakashi still giving you books to read?" He asked. Naruto grumbled. "Hell yeah he is! And its a pain in the ass too! All these books on 'Kage Politics' and 'Financial Training' is soo boring! It's a complete waste of time!".

Delsin sighed. If course it was. That was why he initially declined when the council had offered him the position to be Konoha's Sixth Hokage. It was obvious why they chose him, he was this century's Sage Of Six Paths, who wouldn't want that type of power or to rephrase it-who would go up against that type of power? But he wasn't the diplomatic type, Hokage wasn't something he was interested in so that's why he pointed the looks to Naruto but the council refused.
