Suki POV

We couldn't have been then a few more minutes away from Vegas now, most of the car ride has been us getting to know each other, and some teasing here and there. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and pulled it out to see I had gotten a text.

'How's the mission so far?' the text read I'd been having so much fun that I had forgotten all about my mission.

'Great, should have him there in a day' I replied before putting my phone away. I wasn't entirely sure how I was gonna convince him to come to Mexico with me, but I couldn't fail. A lot depended on my success.

"Is the reason you space out so much because you're listening to them talk?" I asked after Zaccai explained to me who his wolf, Zain, and Vampire, Zeke, were.

"Yes, they are always arguing about something. Both of them are somewhat calm when you're around. Thank goodness, or I'd go mad." He said, smiling slightly.

"You did look a little crazy when I ran you over that day. After a few yells, I assumed you wanted to get hit cause you started laughing like a weirdo," I smiled as I thought back to that day.

"One was accusing the other of being gay, it was funny." He smiled as the flashback of what happened came to mind

"How interesting," I said taking some mental notes. I had another question that was bothering me, but I was afraid of the answer.

There were these sparks every time we touched and this underlined bond I couldn't explain. I had read enough about werewolves to have an idea of what this was. But I couldn't bring myself to ask, it would compromise everything.

He slowly pulled the car up to a hotel, that also had a casino. It was a beautiful building, the architecture was astounding. Once he found us a parking space, he began to button up his shirt.

"Are you ready for our date?" He turned to look at me.

"Yup," I said as I admired the perfection that was being hidden by his shirt.

He quickly got out and sped to my side of the car, opening the door for me. He held out his arm for me to grab and I took it softly, as he walked me to the entrance.

He leaned his head near mine, whispering, "Hopefully you don't have a gambling problem Sweetheart, because tonight, we are going to enjoy ourselves."

"Let's just hope you'll be able to keep up with my skills."

"Don't gamble away all my money, Angel." He smiled at me.

"I don't make promises I can't keep."

"Good, I'd spend every dime on you." He continued to lead us, through the doors.

"Perfect, first stop is the bar! Let's hope you're not a lightweight"

"Oh trust me, if one of us is a lightweight it's you." He led us to the bar.

"Oh please, don't underestimate me," I said with a laugh as we walked up to the bar counter

"A glass of Spirytus Rektyfikowany," he motioned to the bartender, before looking at me, "I'll try not to, Sweetheart."

"I'll have what he's having," the bartender nodded in response, before going to make our drinks.

"Are you sure you're ready for that, it's strong..." He smirked, trying to challenge me.

"Fuck you, I can drink the whole bottle," I huffed

"Is that a challenge, Honey Bun?" He rose a brow stopping the bartender.
