Chapter 2 - Club night

At McKinley

''Goodmorning everyone!'' Rachel said excited while walking into the living room where everyone was watching TV. Everyone greeted Rachel back and she opened her mouth to spill out why she was so excited. ''So some good friends of my dad's were at my house this weekend and their son, Gabriel, asked me to go with him to this amazing bar! He told me that it's on the other side of town, you know the part where we are not supposed to come... and guys hold on... YOU ARE ALL INVITED!'' She said without breathing. ''Rachel you said it yourself we are not aloud to go there'' Kurt said. ''Okay MOM then stay at home! Who's coming?'' Rachel responded. Brittany and Quinn gave each other meaningfull looks and then faced Rachel. '''We are in!'' They said. ''Yeah me too!'' Finn said. Everyone had agreed but Kurt. ''So maybe I'll come with you guys but first.. how are you gonna get permission?'' Kurt said finally. ''We'll sneek out after eleven O'clock. Gabriel will be waiting outside with his car. We only need one more driver.. Who is that going to be?'' Rachel asked. Kurt offered to do it so it was set. A night out in the dangerous  part of town.

On the other side of town

Mercedes walked into the little living room in an old garage they restored. They seperated the different rooms by curtains. Some people had to share a room because there wasn't much space. ''Hey Mercedes! Where were you? And where is Puck? We got worried about you guys'' Tina said. ''Puck is dealing some drugs and stuff and I was just at work.'' Mercedes responded. ''So you've got a job?'' Mike asked. ''Yep! Just like Santana and Sam! Work at day, crime at night. All the money is welcome right?'' She explained. ''Yes that's awesome! Where do you work now?'' Santana said while walking in. ''Oh just at a supermarket It's not much... but at least it's something!'' Mercedes answered Santana. Sam and Santana both worked at a restaurant. They made enough money to buy dinner for a whole week. That with the money they made by stealing and other illegal things was just enough to live from. Sometimes they went home to their poor families who lived on the street, but mostly they were together at their little garage. It wasn't big or warm but I did make them feel like a family. They were just as close as a family. The one rule they had was always being there for each other.

The club night with the McKinley High kids

 It was exactly eleven O'clock and they all climbed through the biggest window of the house. They had to be very quiet because if someone woke up, they were dead. Rachel noticed Gabriel's car first and told everyone to follow. Kurt, Blaine and Quinn went to Kurt's car. It was a twenty-minute ride and they were all super excited. Once they arrived, they couldn't believe their eyes. It was a horrible neighbourhood. Everything was dark and quiet and it smelled gross. Gabriel motioned to follow him and they did. Rachel and Finn holding hands, just as Kurt and Blaine and the others were just talking. There was a nice breeze outside. After a five-minute walk they arrived at the bar. They were speechless when they enterred. It was huge and there was good music. Fancy isn't the word you could use but it was a nice place. They went up to the bar and ordered their drinks. They all took some shots and It didn't take long to get drunk. They all started dancing. They had never felt so free. It was nice for once not to be watched and just do what they want. They danced for hours until it was three O'clock. '''Guys we have to ggggg...go'' Rachel said dizzy. Kurt nodded and walked through the bar looking for the others. Finn stayed with Rachel because she looked kind of sick. They walked out of the bar through the dark streets. Brittany walked behind everyone. Quinn used to walk next to her but she had to talk to Finn. Suddenly Brittany got grabbed by her hips and someone picked her up. She didn't know what was happening. No one noticed her being gone because they were either drunk or busy. She tried to scream but a hand was held for her mouth. She started kicking. The person who grabbed her threw her against a wall. Brittany looked around. They were in a small dead-end street. Brittany now saw that it was a guy who held her. He grabbed a knife from his pocket. ''YOUR MONEY NOW'' he screamed. Brittany tried to grab her wallet, but she couldn't find it in the rush. He was about to stab her when a dark creature threw itself on him. She now saw it was a person, a girl. She fought for her life. She was now on the guy and started hitting him in his face. She grabbed his knife and acted like she was about to stab him. Brittany couldn't see her face because of the black hoodie she was wearing. The guy ran off and the girl stood up. Brittany looked shocked at her. The girl gave her one glance. All Brittany could see were her eyes. Beautiful dark brown eyes. One second she felt something. The mysterious girl felt it too. Brittany heard people screaming her name. The girl heard it too and before Brittany could say something, she ran off. Into the darkness. Brittany fell to the ground and saw her friends walking towards her. The last thing she heard was Quinn's concerned voice who was telling the others to call 911. Then everything went black.
