💀Timeline is a bit weird in this book, just pretend Jack isn't old. That he just gets called and old man and has white hair. Just for the stories sake. He isn't that old....yet. Enjoy!~Maddy💀
"I-I should've know."
"How could you have known Jesse?"
"You're always with him. All the missions and hanging out. You spend lots of time together Y/N."
I scratched the back of my head.
"Well, we are a team after all."
McCree sighed looking down sadly.
"It doesn't matter anymore. Will you help us stop Gabe? He's dangerous."
His hand came up.
"This ain't any of my business Y/N and I don't wanna pick sides anyways. In fact I feel like this team is driftin' apart cause of all the inside feuds. I've seen it on the news. The world is getting angry. Gabe is tired of commander Morrison takin' all the credit. Yesterday I decided to submit my form of resignation to Winston. Hopefully I'll be outta here by next week."
I stared at him shocked.
"You-you're resigning?! So soon? But why McCree? We, we need you. I need you. You're my best friend!"
He stared down at me somberly. His hand came up to my face. Jesse's thumb gently stroked my cheek.
"That's just it Y/N. I don't wanna pick sides. Especially cause I wasn't able to win your heart."
He turned his hand leaving my face. He walked back down the hall to his room. Is it true? Was Overwatch really falling apart? When does Gane plan on taking action? For our sake we better come up with a plan. The next week Jack spent trying to control the press. On Friday there would be a special meeting at HQ to talk about future plans regarding the structure of Overwatch as a whole. Jack has been so busy working that I haven't gotten the chance to talk gameplan. Gabriel occasionally passed by in the halls and would give me very alarming looks. He is planning something big, but I have no clue what it could be. He was making me very nervous. I went into Jack's office. His desk was piled with papers, flashdrives, and holofiles that he had yet to get through. He was sitting at his desk. One hand was holding a few papers and the other was on his keyboard. He looked back and forth between the papers and the computer screen rapidly. His arm dropped to the desk and he used one hand to pull it through his hair. He looked very stressed. I went up to the desk and looked down at him through the hole screen. I leaned forward and it disapeard as I hovered through it. I gently touched Jack's hand. He looked up at me with the same expression still frozen on his face.
"Want some help?" I asked.
He scoffed a bit and looked down laughing. His smile returned and looked back up at me. He turned to the stack of files on his desk and back at me.
"I think I do."
I grinned and pulled a chair up to the desk and started picking files from the pile. We were able to finish everything together in two hours.
"Good work Commander." I said looking at the cleaner arrangement of Jack's desk.
"I couldn't have done it without you." He said.
Jack looked down at his watch a d stood up.
"I have a meeting with the press in an hour. Uh, how do I look?"
I looked at Jack's full image taking in everything I saw. He was still in training gear. His hair was greasy and messy. His eyes looked tired. His body was sweaty. Jack hadn't shaved in a few days.
"Eh, do you want me to be honest?"
"Y-yeah?"
"You look like you haven't slep or showered in 3 days."
He sighed. I stood up.
"Let's clean you up."
I ushered him down the hall and to his room. He was surely tired. I closed the door a she lazily sat on the couch. I put my hand to his cheek.
"Take a shower. That will help wake you up."
He nodded and made his way to the bathroom. A few minutes later he came out in a towel and water glistened off of his fixed body. He ruffled his wet hair with one hand. It was a poofy wet mess. He looked much cleaner, but still looked tired and worn out. I walked up putting a hand to Jack's chest then placed it on his cheek.
"Jack? Can-can I give you a shave?"
He smiled and looked down as if compelled to laugh.
"S-sure."
I had him take a seat on the couch, but I wanted to do something extra. I went into the bathroom for the shaving cream bottle. I found it in a drawer and looked up into the mirror cheerfully. My smile started to fade and I began staring seriously into the mirror. I carefully pulled my shirt over my head and set it on the counter. Then my pants. Then my undergarments until I was completely naked. I walked out with just the shaving cream bottle in my hand. Jack looked over and didn't look very shocked. Just a bit surprised. He repositioned himself on the couch and stared at me blankly as I walked closer. I stroked my hand across the arm rest of the couch and threw my leg over Jack's lap. I sat onto of the towel that wrapped around his waist. Jack managed to keep his eyes locked on mine the whole time. I squirted some of the blue gel from the bottle and rubbed it into my hands. It started to turn into white shaving cream. I began layering the cold substance across Jack's face. His warm hands found my waist. I w I'l ped off my hands on the towel and grabbed the razor. I could feel Jack's erection from under the towel. He seemed fine with this. Neither of us spoke a word. I ran the razor delicately down his face, removing excess hair. He started to look much better. He rubbed his hands against my hips, legs, and ass as I shaved his face. I tried hard not to look too aroused. I took an extra towel and wiped the rest of the shaving cream from his face. He never looked cleaner. I smiled down at my work right before leaning in to meet his lips with mine. I broke the kiss putting my hands on his shoulders.
"You look good commander."
