Chapter 42 : Arrested

Yeon-Hee's POV

"I HAVE TO SEE MY DAUGHTER!! LET ME GO!!"I yelled, as i try to free myself from the police, holding me.

"You will see her, once we done interrogating you."The police said. "I SAID LET ME GO!! YOU'RE HURTING ME!!"I yelled. Then suddenly, Subin appears before my eyes.

"Trying to get away from your crimes, ey."I chuckled, "What the hell are you doing here again?"I asked. She raise her eyebrows and smirks.

"You will see Hye-Rang..hmm probably, after 10years or so. You have to pay for your sins."She said. "What sin are you talking about? I didn't even kill your sister. You tricked and fooled me, remember?!"I exclaimed.

"Yes, you didn't killed my sister. But you did, took all of our properties, kicked Ye-Na out, and even tried to kill your daughter. Isn't that enough, to put you behind bars."She said, as she walks towards me, with her shades down.

"I'm done with you yet, Subin! You will see the evil inside of me!"I exclaimed, as i clench my teeth. "Bring her in."The police starts to drag me inside the station.

"LET ME GO!"

Subin's Pov

I let out a deep sigh. This is not enough for what you did to my family. But i guess seeing you suffer, is already fun and satisfying to watch.

I head back to the hospital, after making sure, Yeon-Hee doesn't ran away from her crimes. Hye-Rang is still unconscious, and i couldn't help but to get worried.

As i got back to the hospital, i immediately rode the elevator, and proceed to Hye-Rang's room, which is in the 5th floor of the building.

As i got to Hye-Rang's room, everyone was present. "Hi, Subin."I smiled, "Hello, Suho."

I sat down beside Hye-Rang, and caress her forhead. "How was the arrest of Yeon-Hee?"Chanyeol asked. I sighed.

"She's being interrogated for sure. But, Yeon-Hee will not stop, until she gets to see her daughter."I said, as i look at Hye-Rang.

"She could probably try to escape."Baekhyun added. I nod, "Probably. So, i'm going back there to make sure she doesn't try to ran away from her crimes."I said.

Chanyeol grabs my hands, and said. "Please be careful. I don't want you to get hurt."I let out a smile. "I will. Don't worry."I said.

Suddenly, the doctor came. We all flinched in surprise, as we anticipated. "How is she doc?"Kris asked.

"She's still unconscious, and by that, we have to prepare for the worst thing that could happen. Though, her vital signs are good. There's still possibilities that, her body could just give up."By hearing that, my heart dropped that i almost collasped to the ground.

"You okay?"Chanyeol asked, as he held me. Preventing me to fall. "I'm good. I'm just worried."I answered.

"Hye-Rang's gonna be fine. Okay?"I nod, as Chanyeol pulls me into an embrace.

2:30P.M

Chanyeol and I went to the police station, to make sure Yeon-Hee doesn't ran away from her crimes. Who knows, what Yeon-Hee do?

"How is the interrogation going on, Lawyer Lee?"Chanyeol asked. He lets out a deep sigh, "We tried to make her speak, but she just won't."Chanyeol and I looked at each other confused.

"Why?"I asked. "She badly wanna see her daughter."Lawyer Lee answered.
"Then, if seeing her daughter is the only way, that she can speak. Then, lets give her a chance. After all, she's still the mother."I said.

I went to the interrogation room, to talk and see Yeon-Hee. Her hands are cuffed, tears couldn't stop but fall from her eyes. To be honest, i feel pity. I feel bad, that she has to go through all of these.

"Are you sure you wanna go inside?"Chanyeol asked. I sighed, "I just wanna have a word with her."I said.

"But, be careful. Will be outside, okay?"I nod, as i let out a smile.

I twist the door knob, and slowly open it. As our eyes met, i could already feel the pain, she's feeling. "What are you doing here? Trying to make me speak? It won't work."She said.

I let out a deep breathe, as i sat down across her. "I'm not here to make you speak."I said.

"Then what?"

"I'm here to talk to you. Heart to heart."I said.

She smirks, "You said, i have no heart. Then why are you here?"She said. I lowered my head down and sighed.

"I know how badly you wanna see Hye-Rang. I know how much you miss her."I said.

"Hye-Rang has been a good girl. She's kind, respectful, brave, smart, loving and caring. I know, she got those from you. You're not this kind of person, Yeon-Hee. Probably, there's just a reason why you became like this."I said, she tilt her head up a little and looked at me.

"I never knew, after all of the things i did you and your family. You still have this kind of sympathy and care, you have for me."She said. I let out a smile,

"Because no matter what you do, i always believe the good side on you. Where else would Hye-Rang get the beauty and kindness? Hmm?"I state.

"I'm sorry, Subin. I know it's late and i know you wouldn't forgive me. But, i just wanna say sorry. Actually, the time you brought Hye-Rang home, i was so grateful and thankful. That it was you, who made sure she's safe."She said, as she looks deeply into my eyes.

"I always know, you have a good heart. So, i'm giving you a chance to see her one last time."Upon saying that, she tilt her head up and looked at me with a smile. "Thank you, Subin. Thank you"I let out a smile, as i held her hand and caressed it.
