Part 30

-y/n's POV-
Kate took a deep breath in as she was about to answer my question.
I Kate: the doctor said Ruel got into a fight and got really badly hurt.
My head instantly was filled with thoughts of what could have happened.
Y/n: h-how bad was it?
Kate: it's pretty bad...he hasn't woken up.
Ralph: the doctors believe he was hit over the head with a glass bottle because there were shards of glass In his head.
Coco: so he was knocked out??
Ralph: yeah...Ruel is in a coma
My heart broke as those words came out of Ralph's mouth. A few tears slip down my cheek and Coco pulled me into a hug.
Coco: it will be alright, Ruel is a complete idiot but he's strong and will wake up.
Coco's words were reassuring but I was still worried about him.
Y/n:can I see him?
Ralph:yes he's in that room
Ralph point to a door that was closed. I nodded and approached the door taking a deep breath and bracing myself.  
I pushed the door open and walked into the room. It was dimly lit and my eyes wondered to the bed were Ruel was laying
His body looked lifeless and there were wires attached to his body. I walked over to him and held his hand. My eyes instantly filled with water and the tears ran down my face dropping onto our hands. His body was cold. There were bruises all over him and cuts. I couldn't bare to see him like this, I just cried.
Y/n: please Ruel if you can hear me I love you and I need you. Please Ruel I cant do this without you. I love you, come back to me please.
I held his hand as I cried for a few minutes, until I heard and alarm beep, then felt Ruel grab my hand. I looked up at Ruel's face. He opened his eyes and I cried even more.
Ruel: I love you too
I instantly hugged him.
Y/n: don't ever scare me like that again you idiot.
Ruel: well I got you to say that you love me
Y/n: shut up
I gently kissed him and brushed the hair out of his face.
Y/n: do you remember what happened?
Ruel: yeah I was in a fight and then some homeless guy hit me on the head with a bottle and it all went black from there.
Y/n: please Ruel you need to stop getting into fights. You can't keep doing this to yourself.
Ruel: I know babe
Y/n: who was it that you were fighting?
Ruel: Jacob...
Y/n: Ruel he's not a threat to you I promise. Your the only guy I want.
Ruel: I know but he just got on my nerves.
I placed my hand on his cheek and rubbed
My finger across it gently.
Y/n: I hate seeing you hurt like this
Ruel: I know
Y/n: I'll go get your parents
Ruel: okay thank babe
I quickly gave him a peck on the lips then walked out to the hallway to the Van Dijk's
Y/n: he's awake
Kate: thank god
She walked into the room and Ralph followed her
Ralph: thank you y/n
I smiled and looked at Coco
Coco: what did you do? Some love telling or  something?
I giggled and she walked into Ruel's room.
I was so happy that Ruel was ok but I was furious at Jacob. I walked over to the front desk and asked for Jacob's room and the lady gave  it to me easily enough.
I walked towards his room and I could feel my blood began to boil.
