AINSLEY ROLLED HER EYES AT THE SIGHT of Steve Harrington, attempting to climb up to her best friend's room with a handful of middle schoolers around her, all of them watching him in irritation, as he slipped again and again and again. Honestly, she almost felt bad for him until he turned around in frustration, surprised to see the small group watching him.

He sent a wave to the kids and a smile before his eyes landed on her; he almost forgot about Nancy completely. The street lamp stood high above them, reflecting perfectly off her face but he shook himself out of the gaze when he realised the way her lips curved into a frown of disgust and he finally figured out who he had been gawking at for the past three minutes. Ainsley Wilson.

Before he could even snap a witty remark, Mike finally came out with his bike which he didn't ride to the Wilson household, having to take Ainsley's spot on Andrew's bike and Dustin insisted on her doubling him which didn't see a problem with.

"Is that Steve Harrington?" Mike asked, as Steve once again tried to make it up the onto the roof, finally succeeding but when he turned around to see if they were watching, he turned around to see Ainsley climbing onto the back of her brother's bike and riding off not giving him another look.

"That was embarrassing" Steve mutter before climbing into his girlfriend's window.

Ainsley hated the woods, she wasn't sure but nothing good came out of it and Will's situation confirmed that for her. Especially when it was pouring rain and dark out, she could be barely see a thing but Lucas, Mike and Dustin came prepared with flashlights while Andrew was empty-handed and Ainsley swung around her baseball bat.

Soon an hour became two, and Ainsley's voice began to go scratchy from all the yelling she was doing, hoping the Byers boy would reply to his name but she doubted that he would even hear them over the storm that towered over them.

"This is no use, the storm is too loud even if he was close by, he wouldn't hear us" Ainsley only spoke facts but Mike wasn't having it, he needed to find his best friend.

"Unlike you, I don't leave friends behind!" He snapped at the older girl, as the six of them continued to look around, blood boiling at the words that surrounded them.

"She didn't mean that! It is really cold out here, Mike" Andrew yells over the storm, Mike frowns upset that Andrew didn't take his side.

"See, we're all cold. I'm not leaving him behind, Mike. Maybe we should check after school, when it's light out and not storming," She spoke, she knew that Mike and the boys were going through a rough time but going out like this was no point.
