"I can't believe you did that to me," Betty says as we walk out of school for the end of the day.

"Betty I said I was sorry," I say for the thousandth time.

"Next time you want to talk to Peter just say you want to talk to Peter," Betty says.

"I told you Betty. I thought you wanted to talk to Ned. It had nothing to do with Parker," I state.

"Whatever," She says opening her moms car door. "See you later," she says shutting the door. I wave to her and her mom as they drive away. I walk down the sidewalk and sigh.

"Stella!" I hear from behind me. I turn around and see Flash pulling up in a nice town car hanging out the window. "You need a ride home?" He asks. I shake my head.

"No Flash I'm okay," I say. "I'm making a bunch of stops anyway," I add. "It's be a burden."
"You are never a burden," he says with a smile.

"That's okay Flash," I say with a fake smile.

"Oh, okay. Still coming to my party right?" He asks. I nod.

"Yeah Flash I'm still going," I say. He gives me a thumbs up then they drive away. I keep walking and look up where I see Spider-Man swinging around. He's heading towards Manhattan. Hope he doesn't get himself killed. "Be careful," I think hoping he gets the message.

When I get home I see another note on the counter. I don't even bother reading it. I know exactly what it says. How he's sorry he's always at work and he'll make it up to me next time. Whatever Dad. I grab the money next to the note and sigh. I sit down on the couch and open my laptop. I decide to look into the crime in Manhattan.

"Gun robbery: Where Was Spider-Man?" I See the headline and start reading the daily bugle article. J Jonah Jameson is a quack but tells some facts every now and then.

"Thugs break into underground military base and make off with seven crates full of military grade weapons."

"This is some serious stuff," I think to myself.

"You aren't kidding," I hear Peter say. "Where did they get guns like that?"

"Peter you have to get out of there," I say to him.

"No way, Stella. I gotta get in that warehouse and see what Kingpin is up to," he says.

"Peter you can't do this by yourself!" I say. My head hurts by how worried I am. Why am I so worried though.

"Stella, relax, I've been to space. I fought Thanos for Christ sake," he says. "I'll be fine," that one I heard, but not in my head. I heard it through my ears. Like he spoke. I shake my head knowing he can't hear me.

"Peter you can't go in-

"Shush," He says. "I see him."

"Really?" I say out loud. I get nothing.

"Stella can you still hear me?" He asks he sounds quiet. Like he's trying to whisper. I sigh not wanting to distract him anymore. "Karen can you find the cell phone number to a Stella Carmichael and put it in my system," he says louder. There is silence and then my cell rings.

"Hello?" I answer.

"I figured this be better than using our fancy mind powers. Hurts my head after awhile, how about you?" He asks casually.

"Peter you can't just walk in there," I say. I hear a grunt and then a light bang of metal.

"Don't worry I'm being as stealthy as I can," he says.

"It's Spider-Man!" I hear someone yell.

"Uh oh," he says. "Karen can I get a reading on the likely hood of my surviving?"

"10000 to 1," a woman's voice says.

"Peter get out of there!" I say to him.

"Sup fellas, listen I'm just here because I heard you stole some stuff and I'd like it back," he says. I hear gun shots. "Alright yeah yeah yeah. No negotiations okay," he says. I roll my eyes. I've never known someone so awkward yet so chatty at the same time.

"You are so confusing," I say basically to myself.

"I'm confusing?" He asks. "Didn't we just discuss," he stops and I hear some sort of combat happening. "Listen guys can't we just all get ALONG!" I hear his voice raise and a slam.

"Peter what is going on?"

"Peter just got thrown against a wall can I take a message?" I hear Karen say.

"Uh, yeah tell him he should get a sidekick," I say.

"The avengers are currently unavailable," Karen says.

"What kind of mess are you hero types running?" I hear my phone beep and I have another call coming from Betty. I decline it.

"Stella, I got to go, Karen send MJ a text saying I got caught up."

"Will do," Karen says.

"Wait Peter don't-" he hangs up before I can finish my sentence. I groan in frustration and look out the window towards Avengers tower. "Currently unavailable," I mock. "Some heroes," I say with an eye roll. I hear a knock at my door and go to get it. I'm not expecting anyone but maybe it's a package. I open it and see a large man standing in my door way. "Can I help you?" I ask him.

"Are you hoodie girl?" He asks.

"Uh, Yeah used to be," I say. He walks in and sets a bag down on my counter. "Who are you?" I ask.

"Happy Hogan I work with Spider-Man," he says. "He told me to drop this off here."

"You work for Spider-Man?" I ask.

"With! With not for," he explains. I roll my eyes.

"Whatever, What is that?" I ask.

"It's a suit," he says simply.

"What?!"
