HINDI alam ni Vergelyn kung gaano na katagal tumatakbo ang van na sinasakyan niya because the only thing that was running on her mind was Altair. She doesn't know how or why, but he was there and he saw everything. Before she can find out the answer though, it was too late. She was taken away, in front of the man she learned to care more than herself. She felt her eyes prickled with tears that was about to fall again then she felt the light tapping on her shoulder. "Ronalyne!" gulat na bulalas niya. Umayos siya ng pagkakaupo and with wide eyes she scanned the entirety of the van.

"Cookies?" alok sa kanya ni Squall mula sa kahon na hawak nito.
"Will you please stop eating that." Alekhine said from the driver's seat exasperatedly. "I still need to deliver that."
"You should know better than to leave food here. Especially when I'm hungry."
"Shut up boys." biglang sabi ni Ronalyne bago bumaling sa kanya. "I did tell you that I would do something, didn't I? Hinanap ka namin sa hotel, but you weren't there. What were you thinking?"
The remaining two men removed their ski masks at kaagad niyang nakilala kung sino ang mga ito. It was Andrei and Fang. Pinunasan niya ang kanyang luha, there is no need for her to cry anymore. She is safe. Halos mapatalon siya ng marinig niya ang biglaang pagmumura si Squall, throwing the now empty box to his brother Andrei.
"Hindi mo man lang kami sinabihang kidnapping ang ipagagawa mo sa amin. 'Nak ng putcha naman o, Ronalyne. Kung wala kaming suot na maskara baka ibinabandera na ang mga mukha namin kung saan-saan." reklamo nito. "Gusto mo bang ma-suspend ulit kami?"
Pinunasan ni Andrei ang lens ng salamin nito bago muling isinuot iyun.
"She did say it was kidnapping. Hindi ka lang nakikinig." bumaling ito sa kanya. "Don't worry, Vergelyn. You have my word, kahit baligtarin nila ang buong mundo hindi ka nila makikita."
"Hindi ka man lamang ba nag-aalala?" tanong nito sa kakambal. "Paano kung ipakulong nila tayo. Sayang ang malinis kong record."
"Shut up, Squall. Besides even if they knew it was us, to which I highly doubt that they do, they won't do anything about it. So your police record would still be clean. But come to think of it, wala ka namang reputasyong iniingatan so why bother?" Andrei said bluntly.
"Thanks for the concern, bro." Squall said sarcastically.
"Don't mention it." his brother said seriously. "People might think I do care. And honestly, I'm not."
"Anyway." Ronalyne suddenly said preventing any one-sided argument to erupt from the twins. "Kaya nga kayo ang nilapitan ko para...ah...itakas si Vergelyn, dahil kahit anong gawin ninyo hindi kayo makukulong."
"Your cousin is abusing our authority." Squall complained to Fang.
"I thought her well."
She remembered what Lorence told her once, bilang miyembro ng COMBUSTIN meron silang immunity of some sort. They are afterall a supposedly secret group, mahirap nga naman na restricted ang pagkilos nila kapag may importante silang misyon.
"Where are you taking me?" curious na tanong niya sa mga ito.
"To a place where you can stay without annoyances." nakangiting sagot ni Ronalyne.
"That...would be impossible. Doon rin nakatira si Squall. And he is the epitome of annoyance." sabat ni Andrei na ngayon ay abala sa kung anuman ang ginagawa sa cellphone nito.
