《 POV Amatsuki 》
I wake up to a thump. Not that I slept too tight anyway after what had happened earlier.
But... what is that noise? Sounds like a person. Maybe someone got up and went to the bathroom.
Hm, whatever.
I close my eyes again.
What the-?!
Another thump. Even louder than before. Is that an... Intruder? I get reasonably scared and decide to get up and check it out.
I slowly walk outside the door. Through the dim moonlight shining through the window, I see Mafu. He is leaning against a pillar. It seems he just walked straight into it. What's going on?
"Mafu?"
He doesn't react but instead turns away and opens the front door. Where is he going in the middle of the night?
Something's not right. I gotta follow him.
I put on a bathrobe and some shoes, as I quickly start following Mafu.
"Mafu-kun! Where are you going?"
He doesn't respond. Is he too far away already?
He goes all the way upstairs, until he reaches the roof of the house. I follow him as quickly as I can, but he walks pretty fast.
I finally reach the roof as well. It's dark, cold and windy. Where did he go?
After the clouds uncovered the moon, I could make out a silhouette in the distance. It must be Mafu.
But wait... What is he doing? He's... He's stepping over the rail!
My steps towards him become bigger and faster.
"Mafu! What the hell are you doing?!"
Why the hell isn't he responding?!
Is he going to...
Oh God, I gotta stop him!!
I reached him at last, approaching him slowly.
"Mafu! Answer me!"
Then I realized it. The way he was walking. The fact he doesn't respond. He must be sleepwalking.
I approach him farther and farther, until I quickly fixate him on the rail with my arms.
He also happened to let go at that exact moment.
Had I hesitated just a millisecond longer...
Oh God...
He seems to slowly be getting back to his senses.
"Mafu!! Wake the fuck up!! Please!!"
