"Your bathroom is like heaven." Aleksei let out a deep, contented sigh as he walked into Sam's room. "I have to share with literally everyone. And I'm not even allowed to lock the door in the morning because there's always a traffic jam with six people who want to brush their teeth plus shower and one bathroom."
"It does have its advantage to have a spacious home. But honestly? I love your home-situation. It's warm and cozy and I wish I had more siblings like yours." He sighed deeply afterwards, shortly deep in thought about what it would be like to have more siblings.
"You can have my siblings," Aleksei joked, gently prodding Sam's arm with his elbow.
He'd noticed Sam's reaction, and it didn't look like he was that happy here. Even with the spacious bathroom. Aleksei could imagine why. With those parents? Yeah, he wouldn't be happy either.
"And seriously: you're always welcome at my place," Aleksei added.
Sam offered him a small smile in return. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."
"I'm glad we're alone here, though."
The words were already out before Aleksei realised just how suggestive that sounded. He'd meant he liked the peacefulness... but honestly? Let's not pretend he hadn't been acutely aware they were alone from the moment he stepped inside, and let's definitely not pretend things other than the private bathroom weren't on his mind.
He was thinking things, and the flush he felt creeping up his neck was probably showing it, too.
Sam smirked at Aleksei while he sat down on the bed. He did like the sound of that; being alone with Aleksei, finally. He stretched out his hand for Aleksei to take. As soon as Aleksei placed his hand in his, he pulled the boy towards himself to hug him.
Freshly showered, Aleksei at least wasn't afraid he stank of pizza and grease in general anymore. But that didn't mean Sam pulling him into a hug wasn't wonderfully nerve-wrecking anyway. Being this close made Aleksei's heart stutter in his chest. And with Sam's face so close, leaning in for a kiss happened automatically.
Sam answered the kiss without hesitation. Having Aleksei in his arms, this close, made him feel better than he had ever felt before. He couldn't believe he was this lucky, with a guy like Aleksei showing interest in him. But this was his first intimate moment with a guy, not to forget that Aleksei was hot. Sam felt hot and bothered in no time, and eventually he pulled back and rolled away, needing a break for some much needed oxygen.
Aleksei was breathing heavier just like Sam when the latter pulled away. He didn't really understand why. Sam had... well, had felt as into it as he was.
"It was hard to focus at work today," Aleksei tried. "I kept thinking about meeting you."
Sam mumbled incomprehensive words, wanting to ask Aleksei what he had expected to happen while they were alone. But he was too nervous--and too afraid to be turned down--to ask. Eventually he decided on admitting he too had been thinking about meeting him.
"I've been thinking about it non-stop, to be honest," he eventually told Aleksei with a small, shy smile.
Aleksei didn't know what exactly to make of Sam's reaction. Where Sam had been super confident and smooth so far, he looked shy now. Was he wondering about the same thing? Aleksei swallowed. A nervous lump had suddenly formed in his throat.
"So," he said quietly. "It's kind of late. Should I text my parents I'm staying with a friend tonight?"
Sam swallowed, nerves were building up inside him. He wanted Aleksei to stay, he really did. But he still wasn't sure what Aleksei was thinking.
"Uh, well, do you want to stay over?" He felt a blush forming on his cheeks. Where was his confidence now?
Aleksei didn't reply. Rather, a small smile played on his lips and he took out his phone. "I'll text my parents I won't be home."
Sam nodded, and waited for Aleksei to text his parents. And while Aleksei was texting, he didn't feel awkward. But as soon as Aleksei had tossed his phone aside, he had no idea what to do.
"So, uh, what do you want to do?" Sam quietly asked, biting his lip nervously.
Anything, as long as it's with you. That was the real answer, and obviously not the one Aleksei was going to say out loud. He couldn't be weird again like in that text the other day.
"We could watch a movie?" Aleksei suggested as his eyes fell on the television.
Sam couldn't help the foolish grin on his face, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "You want to Netflix and Chill?"
Aleksei could tell he was missing some sort of reference or joke, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out what Netflix had to do with the cold.
"Sorry.... But I don't understand. What is Netflix and Chill?" he asked carefully, with a sheepish expression.
Sam stared at Aleksei, a bit unsure on how to respond to that question. He had forgotten Aleksei didn't always get innuendos and slang like 'Netflix and Chill'. But he really didn't want to explain himself, knowing he would probably become red like a tomato.
"Oh, eh, maybe you should Google it," he eventually suggested with another sheepish grin on his face.
"...Okay," Aleksei agreed, crawling over to the nightstand to grab his phone and look it up. The answer Google spat out made his head feel like exploding from the amount of blood that was rushing to his cheeks.
Oh. So that's what it was.
"We should..." he started, before pausing to lick his dry lips.
This was suddenly getting very real, and part of Aleksei just wanted to crawl under the bed and never come out from pure embarrassment from wanting it so much. With a face that felt twenty pounds heavier from all the blood flowing through it, he muttered, "Put on If I Stay. I've already seen it. I wouldn't really need to watch."
Sam wanted to comment on If I Stay. Wasn't that the tear-jerking movie Jenna once practically forced him and Jordy to watch? Sam reluctantly agreed anyway, since the movie--obviously--wasn't going to be important. As Aleksei had already said, he wouldn't really need to watch.
And neither did Sam.
There were feelings building up inside Sam, and he couldn't ignore the fact he got a bit aroused by the thought of a Netflix and Chill session; the way people intended it. He kept silent while searching the movie. His throat was too dry to talk in that moment, so he just focused on starting the movie, putting the lights off in his room and pull Aleksei in his arms as soon as he was back on the bed with him.
